Bethany who was assigned as my coach was very effective in helping me with my resume and also interview prep. She also provided a number of pointers on the companies to target and the way to go about it. Would certainly recommend her. She is also very emphatic which was very helpful for me.

I had the opportunity to work with Bethany G at VelvetJobs and after an extended period with one employer I needed a lot of guidance re-vamping everything. Bethany was invaluable in helping me update my resume, cover letter, and preparing for interviews. She checked in on me, was available for questions, knowledgeable about her answers, and was always kind and compassionate. I highly recommend Bethany / VelvetJobs!

I worked with VelvetJobs and Amanda Stadel after being laid off from work. This was just a fantastic resource. Amanda was so great about helping me prepare my resume for applications in addition to helping me prepare for interviews. She was always very thorough and proactive in her approach. I would absolutely recommend for anyone seeking new opportunities.

My career coach Amanda Stadel was really easy to work with, talk to, and help organize thoughts, resume, and goals. She not just boosted the resume and job search results, but also boosted morale and made things seem like it will always move forward and we will reach our goal. She helped organize all the thoughts and was a great listener to the failures and successes at each point of the search!

I worked with Bethany Greenley with VelvetJobs and she was incredible. I felt like she genuinely cared about equipping me to find my next role with a company. She checked in regularly and stayed up to date on who I was interviewing with and where I was in the process. Bethany did a great job of encouraging me through the process as well as giving me insights through this time on what she was seeing in the job market space in general. Prior to my first interview she instructed me to send her the job posting so she could anticipate interview questions and she did a mock interview with me. This was very useful as it had been a long time since I was on that end of an interview. I also received lots of compliments on my resume that she helped me build. I would definitely recommend VelvetJobs and specifically Bethany for anyone having to navigate through a shift in their career.

James was a great help. I found myself after a Layoff needing to revamp my resume after not needing to use one for years. The Resume and Coverletter assistance was just the tip of it, James was able to assist with interview questions and made himself available for any and all questions I had.

After 25 years with the same company, I found myself needing to learn how to apply for new positions—a daunting task after so long. Velvet Jobs gave me the foundation, coaching, and guidance I needed to start this new journey. The 1:1 coaching sessions were invaluable, helping me tailor my resume and craft a cover letter that ultimately led to job offers. Bethany's deep understanding of the job market was particularly impactful. I highly recommend Velvet Jobs to anyone seeking a new position.
