VelvetJobsReviews of velvetjobs.com

VelvetJobs was fast and competent in improving my resume. The agent, James B., was courteous and very expedient in assisting me. Working from an old resume and a job description, he reorganized my resume, condensing it from 3 pages to 2 pages while also succinctly summarizing my knowledge, skills, and abilities as searchable key words. He then generated a cover letter for my target job! The document creation work itself was great, but I was especially impressed by the timeliness--James created the documents and emailed them to me within 24 hours of my emailing him. I was very pleased with VelvetJobs and think that others will be too.

It's so nice to be able to talk to my representative and know I'm getting the help I need for my next job and future job considerations. Through this program, I've learned habits and tips I never knew to exist in the first place. I highly recommend this for anyone seeking help for their career search, whether they know it or not.

Bethany was a pleasure to work with. Very helpful and uplifting.

James was great to work with. He did an amazing job on my resume and cover letter. Great person to talk to. I would highly recommend James.

Got some good info to add to my resume, though I felt like the process was a bit on the impersonal side. I think the staff could have asked me more questions to get to know me better as a candidate.

James is AWESOME! He has been incredibly responsive and timely with all my requests and he really knows what he's doing. I have been so happy with how he's helped me match my qualifications to the various roles I've been seeking. I also appreciate his kindness and motivation. Its been great working with him and I can't recommend him enough.

Velvet jobs responded very timely to my initial inquiry in mid july. Luann was my point of contact and career coach. She was an absolute pleasure to work with! She did an amazing job with providing me some tips and best practices for my cover letter and resume and revamped them in a timely manner. She was very attentive and listened carefully to my concerns and coached me through the process of navigating a career search after going through a layoff as this was the first time in my career that I've experienced this. I started the process with Velvet jobs in mid July 2024. My official last day with my previous company was August 19, 2024. I landed a new opportunity and accepted the offer on September 17th! Thanks so much Luann!

Luann helped me re-format my CV in a more appealing way. She also gave great advice on how to re-vamp my overall brand and how to prepare for interviews. Overall, my experience with her has been very positive. She is highly personable and effective.
