I had Vector install an alarm system in my home when I first moved in. They put in motion sensors as well as contact sensors. The Vector Security staff took the time to teach me how to use my panel/system controls and answered all (and there were many) of my questions. About two months after the installation my home was broken in to. The motion sensor that Vector Security installed in my basement went off and alerted the police. The police were here within 2 minutes of the initial dispatch. The alarm system going off kept the intruder(s) from being able to steal anything. Since the break in I have had another technician come out and add more sensors to my security system. I feel very confident that if anyone tries to get into my home again Vector will keep them out even when the locks and my two giant dogs aren't enough of a deterrent! If I hadn't had such a well thought out and installed alarm system the intruder(s) could have done damage or worse (in my opinion) hurt my dogs. I am very grateful to Vector Security and would recommend them to anyone looking for a security system for their home! There product as well as their customer service is top notch!

The price was very competitive and installation was a breeze. Rich installed our system and did a great job with setup. I would not hesitate to recommend Vector for your security needs.

One of your District Sales Managers is a friend of mine so I stick with you, if it weren't for this relationship I'd have changed providers long ago. Please upgrade your website to allow customers to manage payment methods there is no reason I should have to call and speak to someone to change my credit card details. Also, I'm leasing equipment and don't appreciate that I was charged $200 to upgrade the radio in the leased equipment because AT&T is discontinuing their 2G network. It's your equipment and if it no longer fits the needs of your partners you need to replace it at your expense and not mine.

We find that they take longer to schedule service than we would like here on Long Beach Island when we have a problem. That is our only complaint.

So far the service I have received has been good. The only issue I had is when I replaced a door and had to re-do the door alarm. I was told it would cost me $125 to have someone come out and re-attach the alarm and that I would have to wait a few days. What is the point of the alarm if i have to wait a few days to have it re-attached!!! That leaves me vulnerable on that door. The installers for the door are not allowed to attach the door alarm because if not done right they become liable. So I had to re-attach it myself. You really need to review your service policy.

I had scheduled a service appointment for Friday, Dec. 12 between 4-8 pm. I received a phone call about 5:15 pm letting me know that he would be at my house within the hour and he was. Jason was very polite and introduced himself to me. He came in and assessed the situation quickly and took care of the problem without any hassles. He then went out of his way to show me how some of the features of my system work and he also replaced the battery in my key chain remote. He stayed longer than expected to make sure that I didn't have any questions and showed me how to run a test for a panic button. I was so happy to learn about the system and how it can help me. He is a fantastic employee and extremely helpful!!!
