vasco-translator.comReviews of vasco-translator.com

Well built, but the performance very poor slow translations. Good idea needs a lot of work to be a leader with the translation equipment. There are other brands with similar product on the market that are much better and cheaper.

Vasco-translator is the best device in its class. While many cell phones do have translation function, it is incomparable to supreme performance of Vasco in both audio and written translation and translation from pictures. The world wide availability of free internet connection is also unmatched. However, the best of all is their customer service. It happened that by mistake I received wrong color of Vasco device and their customer service promptly send me another unit in desired color and some extra gifts. Being online shopper for 20 years, this was my best experience so far. I highly recommend this product and this company to all world travelers.

I have the V3 translator and it stops working for long time. Sometimes days, sometimes weeks. Despite charging for hours, the screen is black. Power button does nothing. I have emailed customer support but no response.

I travel often and have found vasco devices to be the best option, particularly their newest addition the 4th generation. I'm shocked at how well and how quickly it translates my words. The earlier version (2nd and 3rd generation) were pretty good but this 4th generation has nearly zero delay, which makes the entire experience so much better. I haven't tried the photo translate with the latest generation but it worked reasonably well with older versions. Bottomline, if you want a translator device for real life situations - vasco is the company to trust and their latest will NOT disappoint. BTW, at CES I tested out a couple other translators that looked great 'on paper' but when testing in person, they were incredibly error-prone. lots of repeating. test before you buy - though you will end up buying vasco and enjoying your international travel beyond what I thought was possible!

No one ever reached out to me via email or phone, but they did rectify the situation by sending a new one.

Great device. Simple to use!

I recently purchased a Vasco V4 translator. It was very easy to set up. I briefly tried out the conversation and photo functions. Both worked well and are very easy to use. I have not travelled with it, yet. Once I travel with it in a live setting with more background noise, I can potentially offer additional insight. So far, I’m very happy.

I originally bought the V3, wasn’t very impressed with it for the money. Upgraded to the V4 and like it so far. Haven’t tested the V4 in a noisy environment or on a trip yet but already I can tell it’s a much better unit. The service I got from Vasco dealing with issues was really good. I would recommend.
