My 17-year-old daughter signed up…
My 17-year-old daughter signed up online because she wanted to use the pool for a month due to a surgery and she couldn't put weight on her foot. Of course she didn't read the fine print. She got charged $25 for the month, then $50 annual fee, and since the plan was to use it a month, another $25 cancellation fee. (That was after a $10 freeze fee since she signed up before surgery). So - one month of pool therapy at VASA (appr. $115). I guess by the fine print, VASA can collect, but having it that easy for a minor to get a membership and then not waiving even a cancelation fee or an annual fee . . . pretty poor practice in my opinion.
