Zero stars if I could. They offer no option to freeze or cancel your account if you have an unexpected financial hardship. They keep your account open for months, charging you fees and monthly membership even if you don’t go to the gym, and they refuse to let you cancel until you make the back payments. This puts people in a position where they have to wait several months to cancel the membership because the fees keep piling up, keeping you in an endless debt cycle. I will never let anyone I know go there again.

Joined VASA in February of 2022 when facility first opened….. At first it was OK, 5 Star with clean environment and the weight lifting area was ideal with cleaning/wipe stations to clean machines and hands. The pool area was not open at the time, had to wait till August. When Pool Area opened, the facility started to go down hill. Lack of Cleaning and no hygiene in the pool area. Beware- Caution..... Conditions for preventing disease or illness is non-existent. VASA does not enforce their own policies. Pool area is supposed to be for those who pay for Fitness or Studio Red Memberships. But it's quite evident, people with Basic membership ($9.00) are just walking into Pool area and using facilities. Problem, dirty filthy shoes are not supposed to be in the Pool area. Floor in pool area and spa is now filthy and never mopped or cleaned. If your going to use pool or spa, wear appropriate clothing like swim shorts and flip flops.. Please keep your dirty outdoor shoes or gym shoes out of the pool area. VASA went from 5 STARS down to 1 Star.... and dropping....

My daughter started a month by month contract in Chandler, AZ, 7/21/21. In Dec. 2021, she tried to cancel when she moved to another city. They said to just transfer the membership. She didn't want it any longer. They are still charging us and have sent us to collections. When we try to call to sort this out, no one answers the phone.

Honestly, if there was a way to put a zero star review I would. Don’t ever buy a membership here. HR sucks and will take forever to get back to you. They are so frustrating to deal with especially if you want to cancel your membership. The gyms are always stinky and aren’t taken care of. Equipment breaks down all the time. And if you payment issues are insufferable to deal with. I’ve been trying to cancel my membership for a solid week or two now and no one is getting back to me. They said they get back to me in 72hours and I’ve emailed them multiple times and this was weeks ago. Recommend that you go to any other gym. All they care about is getting your money despite their cheap 9 buck a month. They have extra yearly fees and terrible sign on fees. Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had at a gym.

I will say the stay are very nice and helpful. However, corporate is horrendous! If you don’t want to be able to talk to corporate and if you want them to change your membership without telling you and then say that they don’t offer refunds after they made the mistake, then this is the place for you. This is what happened to me. I tried to contact corporate about it and, after waiting on the line for 20 minutes both times, the phone hung up. Also, DO NOT give them a credit card that is linked to your bills just in case you need to cancel it so they don’t keep charging you random fees .Costmer Service 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

VASAFitness customer service is completely nonexistent. Their representatives are rude and arrogant and could care less if they actually help you. They are only available on bankers hours. You send an email and you get a response seven days later.

This gym staff shows no respect for its members in the morning, literally 20-25 members standing/sitting in the parking lot for 30+ minutes waiting for a staff member to come and open the doors. This is nothing new, been going on for over a year, complained to corporate several times and it still continues... it can only lead one to believe that both the staff and management are incompetent. You'd think they'd be embarrassed, apologetic, and have something to offer compensation wise to its members who are standing/sitting around waiting for an employee to show up for their job. Your members can get themselves up and out of bed to be at your gym by 4am the least you can do is have someone there to open the doors. There is such a thing as a two person team so when one employee is late for whatever reason the other employee is there to cover. This is unacceptable. It was 18 degrees outside this morning. Where are your employees??? Where is the accountability? Where is a spare key so we can let ourselves in? Where is a phone number posted clearly on the building for members to call when this nonsense happens to get one of your employees over to open the doors????? The members who rode their BIKES to your gym this morning and stood around for 30 minutes in 18 degree whether appreciated it for sure... What is VASA going to do to assure this does not happen again... and again... and again?!
