Knockoff products - you get what you pay for
I ordered three pendant lights. Yes it takes a long time to receive if you are in the USA because these come from overseas. However, the biggest problem is the products themselves. I got a good deal during a sale, but thought I was getting lights by the manufacturer I found on other websites (Hinkley). The model name was the same (Somerset). Yet when I received the boxes, there was a different manufacturer listed (Janedecor). The box had no installation instructions included. I had to look up this manufacturer online to find them. Even then, it was a one page diagram without much useful information. In short, you get what you pay for. These are knock-offs. They look okay (hence the 2 stars) but are not snug at the joints. They twist/turn easily when touched. If you don’t have any experience installing lights, don’t order from this website. You’ll end up with a paperweight for your trouble. UPDATE AFTER VAKKERLIGHT RESPONSE: Any reputable product comes with installation instructions. In addition the product would not be a problem except that you mislead customers into thinking they are getting ‘the real thing’ when they are not. If the website said “compare to Hinkley Somerset Pendant” or the like, it would be more acceptable. But you intentionally don’t mention the manufacturer so that unassuming customers will buy from you. Just be honest. It’s not that hard.
