I purchased this device to treat Eosinophilic Asthma and it definitely works to decrease need for Ventolin and hopefully future rounds of prednisone. Unfortunately, it also pushes the adrenals a bit and as I also have Severe Adrenal Insufficiency I find myself in a balancing act of enough of "Sparky" to keep asthma at bay but not enough to cause an adrenal crash. Support has been awesome. While they can't address specific illnesses, they gave me plenty of general advice and direction that has helped me formulate my current plan. For asthmatics, keep the amplitude low - the studies used 1 mV.

I’ve been using the Vagustim device consistently for the past weeks and it has genuinely become part of my routine. One of the main ways I use it is after workouts, as a sort of transition from training mode into recovery mode before going back home. It helps me calm down my system and shift out of that “activated” state much more smoothly. I also use it sometimes before sleep, especially on days where my mind feels overstimulated or overly active. Over the past months I’ve had a lot of sympathetic activation and mental overdrive, and using the device regularly has been helping me train more relaxation and downregulation over time. What I also appreciated was the support. Responses were fast, friendly and helpful whenever I had questions. I decided to choose this device after researching different options because something about it simply felt right for me personally, and so far I’m happy with that decision.

Because of my difficulty with the earsets which did not fit my small ears, I have had several exchanges with the Vagustim support staff. The responses were always very timely with suggestions for a better fit and finally the provision of the v1 earpiece, an extension of my subscription because I haven’t been able to use the device and the the placing me on the waiting list for an eventual release of a smaller earset. I am grateful the companies responses as opposed to my having a device which I couldn’t use.

So far , so good. The Vagustim device works really well - just as described in the advertising. The app is easy to use and gives a lot of options for customising the experience. I had issues with the HRV measurement function not working when I first started using it, but that seems to be fixed now. It’s too early to say what health benefits I’m getting from using it, but it’s backed up by a lot of research.

I have noticed a marked improvement in my sleep quality since using Vagustim. Love the app too!

I chose the Vagustim v2 vagus nerve stimulator device because with their mobile app you can set all the parameters: Hz, pulse width, duration, duty cycle, and intensity. This allows me to use the same settings that are in trials using VNS for remyelination in MS patients. This is also relaxing my spasticity by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system via the vagus nerve.

I use my Vagustim every night to help me sleep better, and I love it!!!
