They were easy to reach and provided answers to all my questions. When one of the panels arrived damaged they made it right without a hassle.

We are homeowners doing a DIY solar installation. One of us has certifications in solar installation. We need engineer-stamped plans in order to obtain solar permits from our local jurisdiction, so we reached out to US Solar Supplier. Their website says they offer a variety of tiers of design services for both DIY and professional installers, including engineer-stamped permit plans. During the initial consultation, we met with Dylan who was fairly new to US Solar Supplier. He was friendly and did not indicate any barriers to creating permit-ready stamped plans. 5 minutes into the meeting, a more experienced designer, Dave, joined the meeting and was immediately hostile. He said that they don't provide plans for DIY installers, quoting an assumption that most people get their equipment off Facebook Marketplace. He said that unless we buy all the equipment from them, they won't work with us. Their website does not say that you have to buy the equipment from them in order to use the design services. Besides, we have bought solar supplies from them for this and other projects. He claimed that we hadn't bought anything from them because he couldn't find an order associated with the email address I used for the Zoom meeting. This is a ridiculous claim, because we have a different email address for the Zoom meeting than we use for online orders, and we have a different mailing address than the property address (and have purchased items for them for our prior solar project at a different residential address). Unfortunately, US Solar Supplier has lost our business forever. We have three properties that need solar installations, and if this service had worked out well we would have used them for all our projects. But instead, their confrontational and elitist attitude will make us return to our local solar supplier instead.

The employee with US Solar Supply was very helpful in assisting me with the products I had ordered.

Lied about shipment in 3 different ways. Opened a dispute on paypal due to lack of communication and miscommunication the entire time. Now I sit with no replies waiting for paypal to refund me. Stay very far away from this scam of a company.

Andrew and Seth were professional, thorough, and helpful from start to finish. They took great care in designing my rooftop solar system and provided detailed monthly production estimates. U.S. Solar offers quality equipment at competitive prices, and I never felt pressured to make a purchase. They patiently answered my questions and went out of their way to help. For anyone planning a DIY installation, I recommend getting the engineering report. It includes the wiring connections, which makes it a useful resource during installation. I would recommend U.S. Solar to my family and friends without hesitation. I have no regrets about choosing them.

Highly recommended. I’ve purchased tens of thousands in solar equipment from various sources and I can assure anyone reading this that you won’t find a higher level of customer service. When other companies were busy making excuses, these guys came through in a big way. The best way to judge the quality of a company’s personnel is not how they perform when things go right but when things might have a little hiccup. A shipping error mostly out of their control caused me a headache but they immediately worked together to make it right. I have zero hesitation recommending Dave, Allison, Andrew, and Seth for all your solar needs.

They responded to me on a weekend.... Need I say more? I have a project and needed it delivered before a specific date and they expedited it so it would get here a week early. Only had 1 damaged panel and I chose to take credit for the damaged panels since I plan to order with them again. Overly happy with the customer service and the panels work great.

OUTSTANDING customer service! I actually had an issue with the shipment from XPO shipping. A couple of my panels were broken and I contacted US Solar Supplier about the issue. They immediately offered to assist me and get new panels. I previously had an issue with a separate vendor, so I declined to receive new panels and asked for a refund instead, thinking I was going to have the same bad experience I had with a different vendor. US Solar Supplier IMMEDIATELY refunded my money AND they allowed me to keep the few good panels that did get shipped successfully. I highly recommend them for your solar needs. If the shipping company didn't botch the order, these panels would've been great for my project! Thanks a ton guys, I will be placing future orders with you all!
