OVHCloud takes some getting used to OVH operates at a global scale, with OVH USA being the latest addition to their global fleet of services. I've been using OVH (Canada, France, and in recent years, USA) for over a decade. I know OVH like the back of my hand, even their API's. The group at OVH are some of the smartest architecture's I've ever seen. With their vRACK technology, you can span multiple datacenters and stay within your vLAN - NATIVELY. What other provider can do that? Sure lots, but OVH was the first. OVH gives developers of all natures quite literally everything they need. I've run all my business on OVH hardware. This includes: Federal Government, Hosting companies, Marketing things, Deep Learning, AI workloads, and much more. I often call OVH my PLAYGROUND. That being said: Have I ever had hardware failure? Yes. 1 time, 8 years ago. Was resolved in 15 minutes. Have I ever had an outage? Yes, 1 time, also 8 years ago. Growing pains. Outage resolved within 30 minutes. Have I not been treated fair? Never. OVH appreciates my business as I do theirs. I'm an extremely low touch client because I've learned how they work. Learning curve? Not really. If you're in IT anyways, you'll feel right at home. I love being able to not only deploy a *nix / Windows template automatically, but also having KVM over HTML5 is fantastic. No more JAVA files! I whole heartedly give OVH 10/10 experience. good vps's/dedi servers but not good because they ban ur server for running a vpn as when someone sends a internal ddos it causes a internal ddos abuse and heres info on how it works Internal DDoS What is it? - Malicious hosts and victim live on the same network - Attacker uses the malicious devices to send a DoS or DDoS attack to the victim - Typically less of a focus to no focus at all on DDoS protection and mitigation for LAN traffic How it works With this approach, the devices are typically servers either bruteforced or purchased by the attacker. From there, the attacker infects them all with software that will connect back to a botnet Command and Control (CNC) server. After all of the devices have been configured for DDoS usage, the attacker will launch an attack from the CNC server. It works in the same way as a traditional botnet attack, except the slaves are not generic devices; they are hand-picked in order to bypass mitigation efforts on external traffic. Whereas DDoS mitigation efforts have concentrated on how to properly manage external traffic that is arriving, even large hosting providers do not have systems put in place to stop floods from traversing other devices on the same network.

One of the best experiences i have with a provider period. They responded fast on livechat as well as provide excellent support everytime i needed it. Sales team was always there when it came to ordering new servers. So far i have 20+ dedicated servers deployed with OVHUS and no issues so far. Would recommend 11/10

So this is my honest review of OV.US. Let me start with TL;DR - Put it in the shortest form possible, my experience with them was flawless. Today it marks my 2nd year with OVH and 1st year with OVH.US. And man! I have had a perfect experience from day 1! I am pleased to see that even when they make it clear, that they are not "officially" operational on weekends, you still get a reply on Sunday. Not to mention, mI have never waited more than 16 business hours to receive a resolution. The capacity, skillfulness and friendliness of support operators have also improved exponentially over the years. I can say that it is currently one of the best on the market. Kudos to Adel! Next thing, I like is the sheer variety of locations they offer. I find it very convenient that I can choose almost every region other OVH branches provide while getting access to two exclusive Hillsboro US West and Vint Hill US East location. Such two additional locations, allow my business to operate on much lower latency, all under one roof. Again, very handy as the quality of the service remains the same across all of their locations. Let me now touch the most important aspect I value at hosting companies. That is uptime and DDoS protection. With OVH I haven't had a single minute of hardware caused downtime, meaning, that I can sleep/eat/educate or do anything else without me needing to worry that my servers will go down. Let's, not their flawless DDoS protection. My server was under attack for an extensive amount of time, and their patented VAC technology mitigated many attacks without a crouch. I didn't even know an attack was ongoing until I got the report that the attack ended. For comparison, I was previously at one well-known German company, and I was experiencing packet loss, DDoS attacks bypassing protection and more and more bad stuff. With OVH all those problems were resolved. I am very very satisfied. Lastly, I would like to touch a personal approach I have received in recent months. While you may think, that OVH is huge, you would be dead right, however, that does not mean they do not take the personal approach serious. I was able to establish a strong business relationship with OVH and I can credit Jeremy S. and James M. for this. Those guys rock! Here I mostly outlined and described feature I like at OVH. I'm not denying the fact, there were and could perhaps be little other mishaps in the future, however, I'm confident that they will be resolved and acknowledged at the same fast pace as any other issue I had had before. I would recommend OVH US over any other brand. I understand that they might be +US$10 more expensive compared to some other brands but trust me, it's 110% worth it. Let it be for a business, personal or even student work. You cannot go wrong with them. I hope this review will help others and lead them in the right direction if they require any hosting services.
