As this is a budget option, I had my standards pretty low to begin with. However, the phones completely run on a separate app on your phone (including all phone calls and text messages), both which are tedious to use. The reception was ok, often delayed sending of messages or errors in connecting calls but mostly got me through what I needed it for (patience is necessary). Phones are marketed as a cheap, prepaid option but the plan is re-occuring. There is no way to put your plan on hold if you don't want to use it for a month (you cancel it and then lose your number). Charges come out automatically and customer service on the issue requires you to send in 'tickets' to an automated online system which cares little for customer service. Canceled my account the same day that I was charged for a new month and refused a refund. Unsatisfactory. Will not use again.

My experience with unreal mobile... when they say something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Nowhere, in ANY of the reviews that I read, did I see that you have to use their specific app for EVERYTHING. Including text messaging... which means having an iPhone is totally pointless because you can't iMessage. STRIKE 1. The service was also subpar. My husband uses cricket (also ATT network) and I was using Unreal. He had service and I didn't in certain locations (both with the same model iPhone). STRIKE 2. They took their sweet time releasing my number for me to port out, but eventually did it by the end of the third day, but what REALLY frustrates me is that they charged my account again after my number had been ported out! When I ported out from Cricket to Unreal, there was nothing left for me to do. The number was no longer in their system, so I was no longer paying for a service. Simple, right? Wrong, at least not with unreal. I ported my number out but they continued to charge me. And they won't even acknowledge the ticket that I submitted for a refund. They also make it impossible to initiate certain activities from your phone. I had to log into the computer website to initiate a port out and to actually cancel my account. STRIKE 3. But really, if you have an iPhone, don't even bother, because you won't be able to iMessage. Later Unreal. I wish I could say it has been real... but it hasn't. End rant.

Get this unethical company to close shop and stop scamming online customers. I may be successful in getting my Credit Card company to dispute the charges. I already provided them with the needed information. I sent back the equipment [Hot Spot] and cancelled my account online. UPS returned my package telling me the company "had moved" No forwarding address. As a customer who paid upfront for a service which did not meet my needs/requirements for online access, I feel it is important that scams be shut down.That type of business should not exist but as we all know, greed and easy online scams are very seductive.

Unreal mobile changed their price from $10 to $13 without even notifying. Then they changed the customers to Ting mobile and left those of us who had a prepaid plan for the year with no refund. I've contacted them with the ticket and they have not responded. Ting mobile said that they received no compensation from unreal mobile and that I would have to get a refund from unreal mobile. Do not lie they are totally dishonest.

This service is not very good. I tried it for the price of $10.00 and it was a real mess. I could only hear every other word. Now I am trying to port out to another service and it is they are not allowing me to port out. Cannot connect to a human in service to get situation cleared up. Don't make the same mistake that I did.

they took money out on the July 15th 2019 for the coming months usuage and the following day I recieve an E-mail telling me they stop providing service and my number was ported over to Ting Mobile, I checked Ting and they said the money that unreal mobile just took out didn't have anything to do with Ting and wanted me to sign up with them, basically they just stole the money and promptly stop being a cell phone service.

I was charged for service days before my SIM card was activated, especially frustrating given that a free-trial period of 14 was advertised to be in place when the phone line was actived. I was told by a customer service representative that I was charged for days of service before I activated to make activation "hassle-free" out of the box, but this has ended up being the biggest hassle of a phone service experience I've ever had. False-advertising and predatory policies are a bad reputation for a cell carrier.

****FRAUD ALERT*** DO NOT GET SERVICE WITH THIS COMPANY!! Fraud alert... This company is a FRAUD.... I ordered a phone with service, shopping time 3-5 business days... I've still waiting for a phone and it's been TWO MONTHS!!! I've asked for my money back multiple times all I get is endless emails... You can't talk to nobody there it's all computer ran. So I'm not getting anywhere.... Advice would be great on what to do next????????
