Waste of money, bought sim card @ Target, activated & recieved number yet even after downloading app on my son's phone, suddenly phone is not compatible, unable to talk to a real person all I can do is try & cancel service so payments do not come out automatically.

They sucks, seriously. Not releasing my number after account is cancelled with in two weeks. I paid for 3 months service in advance. I bought Unreal Mobile SIM Kit from target and ported my number to unreal mobile. After installing their app and activating the account I was not able to receive calls. I contacted their customer departed (emails only way) and waited for days to see their reply. After I fed up with their support and not able to resolve the issue, I decided to move to another carrier and port my number back. As soon as I initiate the porting process, It says number is not active. I contacted Unreal support again and they move the ticket to higher level. Again after waiting for few more days, I got the reply that your account is cancelled. Its all nightmare and I'm still trying to get my number back from them.

Damn! This is a waste of money..... I spent 22$ and the sim doesn't work. No Customer Service available......I am very annoyed by their company and how they operate. Totally not recommended

They're holding my phone number hostage! Didn't know it was a VOIP service & you need to call in the app. But it doesn't matter anyway because it wouldn't let anyone call in - I could only call out with the app, and the quality was awful. When I sent a ticket request all they said (after 4 days) was "Yes, you need the app for calling." So I tried to leave and they won't port my number. (We had our phone number for 18 years! Finally cut the cord & tried this company first). The new cell service (red pocket, who have been super helpful btw) kept getting an error message on their end even though Unreal has a page that says exactly what information you need to port out. There should be no discrepancy. This is worse than awful and is taking up so much time. I should have kept my landline. I have no idea what to do now.

They are garbage. You have to use their app to make or recieve calls and they will bill you after you port out your number. I haven't been with them for over a year and I was just billed. Terrible company.

Their service wasn't all that bad, though they require you to install an app to make calls and send/receive texts. But my problems began when I tried porting out my number (which is very important to me). At first, two or three carriers could not even try the porting process, because the information for porting out numbers that Unreal Mobile provides is not standard, so they just gave up. When I finally chose a carrier that would try multiple times and change things here and there to make sure my porting happened, Unreal won't release my device. My number got ported by some miracle, but now my phone, which was originally factory unlocked, is forever connected to Unreal Mobile. I need this to be solved immediately! Release my device!

Terrible Terrible. I bought a sim card at the store, I think Target. I went on the website for unrealmobile to sign up and then activate and pick my plan. I did this a few months ago and picked the $10 plan and i was charged but my sim was never activated nor was i even given a number to the sim card. The site was always giving errors page after page but yet the still took my money a few months ago. I decided to try tonight to activate the sim card again and once again i paid $10 for that plan and to activate the sim card once again and it took my payment through paypal just fine but then said on next page once it loaded, that there was a error and i could click on try again or contact us. Both options brought me to non existent web pages. Avoid even buying a sim from the store for this carrier. They are most definitely scamming many of there potential customers. I had a simple thing i wanted to do compared to many other horror stories of porting in and porting out numbers. My situation was as easy as it gets, buy sim in store and then activate on unrealmobile website but that did not work and twice i did it and paid them both times. I contacted paypal and reported fraud and have also filled out the form with BBB along with the FCC because what these people behind the scenes of this company are doing are shady and must be illegal and are certainly not ethical business people. They attract you with incredible deals and prices but the kicker is they take everyone's money but only say 12% of those people actually get a successful completion of a new number or porting there number. I mean what business, especially a fairly new company does not offer phone support?? I would steer clear of UnrealMobile. If you are on a gsm phone, give h20 a try or if cdma give simplemobile a try. they have been great along with straighttalk.
