United healthcare is the worst insurance company to pay for. My spouse and I are paying for this insurance out of pocket and they refuse to help us. These people are very detached. I do not recommend this insurance because even though you pay out of pocket for there service they will treat you like you asking for free services.

nathan on the phone when i called United healthcare about a bill was extremely kind, professional, did great reaching out and communicating with the doctors office who billed and gave me his info if another bill or any confusion arised. Great communicator, very kind & efficient, cared! 10/10!

UHC needs to hire someone new for their rewards program. It's been 'under construction' for years now. They clearly hired someone who can't create a functioning system and use 'under construction' as a never ending excuse. They even told me once to continue earning my rewards, because it still would show up when it 'got fixed'. Spoiler alert.. it never has been fixed. They make your rewards disappear and never make up for it.

One star review because I could not do a negative star. I have been on hold and transferred around for over an hour and NO ONE can help me. When I updated my credit card payment back in May 2026, they didn't complete what was necessary on their end and instead just cancelled my dental and vision insurance. One rep told me I should have called the right number if I wanted help, but I did and was transferred twice before talking to her. The next rep told me I was cancelled because I had a childs insurance plan and I need to talk to who set up my plan....I set it up directly with them!! Finally was told that although I'm still paying the same amount every month on an auto payment, that they have not received the money. Where did it go?? NO ONE at UHC seems to know and they certainly don't care. I was treated so poorly by customer service across the board. It's not something I did, it's on their end. I hate them.

I canceled my services with them within 24 hrs by contacting customer service. The customer service rep stated that a refund would be issued in 30 days. Two days later I received a bunch of correspondence stating they would be making 100.00 withdrawals from my account. Not in this lifetime. I called my bank. .

This is the terrible dental insurance I’ve ever seen!! Don’t waste your time getting this company!!! They won’t even pay for anesthesia if deemed medically necessary!!

WOW! My advocate had the most respect I had ever seen. Handled everything with Walgreens to cover two NRT's and no question about it. Thanks for reading! Absolutely horrible customer service. Can't find a primary care Dr in alabaster Al called the company after over a hour on phone trying to talk to someone got no help at all.. they(UHC) recommend that I cancel policy and get a new company. Think I will
