I rate united healthcare at a two right now I finished my health assessment on August 1, 2026 and tried to log it in through the app and an error message kept popping up so I called and a rep said that they would apply it on there end and two wait twenty four hours so that’s what I did and there was still nothing so I called back the same day and was told it was escalated and sent over to another affixed in the company and to wait fourth eight hours still nothing what is going on ?

I signed up for United Health Care's Medicare Advantage plan a number of years ago on the recommendation of a broker. Unfortunately, they've been reducing my benefits ever since, from the quarterly stipend to dental cleanings to providers willing to accept their coverage. It's a true bait and switch operation, and I'm sadly locked in because of preexisting health conditions. Not recommended.

Did not receive my new U Card at the beginning of the year. I was told I could download the one online. It doesn't work and now it takes 14 days to get a new one that might or might not work. Tried using the OTC online but their selection of products is so small as to be ridiculous. Now I will have to spend my own money because their online system does not work. That's one way to keep me from using my benefits.

I have United healthcare advantage, I don't use it much since I have VA benefits and get my healthcare there, I'm glad I do since all the reviews I read are all bad, I did have a problem with United healthcare though, it was for my over the counter benefits I'm entitled to, my card had expired and I couldn't use it, United healthcare told me they would send out a new one and I never received it, I had to call numerous times to finally receive the card, it's like they don't care if you need them or not, I suppose it's because they are a big organization and get plenty of money, I'm just glad I can go to the VA for my healthcare needs instead of using United healthcare.

I have a Medigap policy with UHC for $103/mo. I'm a relatively healthy 70 yo female. My plan doesn't include a gym membership, like Silver Sneakers or Renew Active but for $44/mo Wellness package add-on I can get it. I requested the add-on but received a letter by their insurance adjuster stating that due to my having had a cortisone shot in my knee in the past 3 months, which per the letter, they put in the same category as a blood transfusion, the Wellness package would cost me $235/mo instead of $44/mo. So I did not get the add-on. UHC has no ability to see that the gym experience will improve my health and thus ultimately lower their cost for my Healthcare.

For almost 10 months, my money that I advanced for buying medication has been withheld from me. Every time I contact customer services, I get a different response on why I am still waiting for my money from my claim and that I have to resubmit the same document for the third time. I feel UHCSR is just trying to make their customers tired until they just give up on getting their money. I also talked to other people who use the Student Resources of UHC and they told me similar stories.

Getting information about third party healthcare coverage is really difficult (second opinions specifically). I got vague answers on the app and customer support line. I am still waiting for a return after three weeks.

United Healthcare, Doesn't Care about mental health. They give you 100+ provider and say they are ALL available to help. Only 5% are available and you must waste your life going through he bad info they force on you. This is what happens when no one cares about other people.
