⭐ 1 STAR — PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING WITH UNDERPRICER I am writing this review because I do not want another traveler to make the same mistake I made. I purchased a first-class international ticket through UnderPricer for a round trip from Miami to Istanbul and then to Lebanon. Because of the serious situation in Lebanon and the restrictions and warnings affecting travel to the country, I contacted UnderPricer approximately THREE MONTHS before my departure to explain the situation and ask what my options were. From the beginning, I was told that they would not refund my ticket. I called their customer service approximately 15 times trying to find a reasonable solution. Despite explaining the circumstances well in advance, I was unable to get meaningful help or a reasonable alternative. Then, one week before my departure, the situation became even more serious: I became sick with pneumonia and had to go to the hospital. My doctor provided a medical letter documenting my condition and explaining that I was not medically able to travel. I immediately contacted UnderPricer again and provided the medical documentation. Even with a documented medical condition and a doctor’s letter, they still refused to refund my ticket. The options I was given were essentially this: either pay approximately $1,500 more to change the flight, or cancel the ticket and pay approximately $450 in penalties. I was left with no reasonable option and ultimately had to cancel the trip. The most frustrating part is that I tried to resolve this MONTHS before the trip. I did not simply decide at the last minute that I didn’t want to travel. I repeatedly contacted the company, explained the situation, and later provided medical documentation from a hospital and doctor. After spending a significant amount of money on a first-class international ticket, I expected customer service to at least make a reasonable effort to help a customer facing extraordinary circumstances. Instead, I felt that I was given no real solution and was left losing a substantial amount of money. I am sharing this review so other travelers can understand what can happen when booking an expensive international ticket through a third-party travel agency. My advice: BEFORE booking an expensive or complicated international trip through UnderPricer, read their cancellation and refund policies extremely carefully and understand exactly who is responsible for your ticket and what happens if you become sick or circumstances change. For me, the money I lost is one thing. The bigger issue is that I repeatedly asked for help, provided medical documentation, and still felt that nobody was willing to work with me. I would not book another expensive international trip through UnderPricer based on my experience.

I worked with Justin who provided me with incredible customer service. He was so helpful in booking everything for me, providing additional options and even selecting the seat assignments. Very courteous and professional, I would absolutely use underpricer again because of my experience with him.
