Medicare Advantage plan sucks. Very limited doctor choice that narrowed during the year, overwhelming paperwork, extreme hassles over required referrals to specialists, no customer service. Can't wait to escape from this hell.

My message to Lehigh Valley Health Network and UnitedHealthcare I am extremely disappointed and honestly outraged that patients are the ones being caught in the middle of this dispute between Lehigh Valley Health Network and UnitedHealthcare. Healthcare should NEVER be treated like a business negotiation where patients are left to suffer the consequences. For years, people have trusted Lehigh Valley Health Network with their health, their families, and sometimes their lives. Patients have established relationships with their doctors and specialists and depend on continuity of care. Now, many UnitedHealthcare members are being forced to make difficult decisions about their healthcare because LVHN and UnitedHealthcare could not reach an agreement. What about the elderly patient who has been seeing the same specialist for years? What about someone undergoing treatment for a serious illness who cannot simply start over with another doctor? What about the patient who cannot afford higher out-of-pocket costs? These aren't numbers on a contract. These are people's lives. I understand that healthcare organizations and insurance companies have to negotiate. But when those negotiations result in patients losing affordable access to the doctors and hospitals they depend on, something is seriously wrong. Lehigh Valley Health Network and UnitedHealthcare need to stop putting patients in the middle and get back to the negotiating table. I don't care who wins the contract dispute. I care about patients winning. People should not have to choose between their healthcare and their ability to afford it. Our health should come before profits, reimbursement rates, and corporate disagreements. Please put your patients and members first and find a solution. People's lives and well-being are too important to be used as bargaining chips.

Is there is below zero I would give , thief , I pay very expensive monthly and supposed to be best and highest insurance, they delayed my prescription, system down , respond to my prescription that supposed to be urgent after 4 days , worst company and now today my last day and they didn’t give me my medication as system down , I only recommend them to my enemies only , I hope this company lose the business.

I have an FSA Card with UHC and it is the worst card! one- UHC asked for a receipt which I repaid the money and now I can't get it back on the card. TWO- I call everyday about the money and I just get transferred all over the place! All I get is the run around. You will hold for 1 1/2 and be cut off. UHC is the worst FSA card I have ever had in life.

Customer service is just horrible! I was literally speaking with a "specialized agent" who did not understand what a "Pediatrician" is and why someone who is 60yrs old can't be seen by one.

Absolutely terrible, my girlfriend had united healthcare medicaid, we were unable to make an account online to view what providers were in network despite us trying eight times to create one through different methods (browser, app, desktop). Searching feature online was also unhelpful and literally gave the wrong information on whats covered, additionally there's no hmo plan number entering for searching that way which is asinine. Company is worth 100's of billions and they couldn't properly create a functioning search application.

Terrible customer service. You call and talk to someone who doesn’t even speak English. Had a large hospital bill this year and I think they decided to cut me off and now they are not covering a couple of my prescriptions after having them for a year .Would definitely recommend shopping around and do not use UHC

What a terrible company. On hold for 20 minutes to find out I need yet more receipts to submit to be able to utilize MY MONEY in my FSA account. I hate this company.
