AARP united healthcare medicare: I have asked them over 5 times to mail me a form and each rep boldface lies and says they are going to mail it out and it's never mailed to me. They are fully capable of mailing things to my mailing address because they have mailed other things to me. I will be refusing mail from them until they mail me the form.

I could not login to my account
I could not login to my account. Needed a confirmation number that would be sent to my cell phone or receive a phone call. Since my landline phone was the number that they had, receiving a text was not an option. Waited for a phone call to my landline, but i NEVER received a phone call. Called UHC phone number, but the customer service was unbearable to deal with. Tried a few times and couldn't get anyone to provide any useful help. They only wanted me to verify my information several times and still would not help me. They would pass me on to another person and I had to repeat the process of verifying all my information again. I am thoroughly disgusted with UHC. Because my insurance is provided by my former employer, (I am retired), I don't have much choice but to suffer with the poor customer service. Hopefully, this is a one time issue of the login problem and I won't have to deal with the terrible customer service and I will be able to login without issues. Although they will probably change the login requirements without ever informing their CUSTOMERS.

I wish I could give zero stars....
I wish I could give zero stars..... This company is beyond awful. I got a plan through our market place and i wish i saved my money. They did not cover my physical, and said the provider was out of network.... they will not pay because they have a different zip code... how is this even legal... also i signed up for a plan and they charged me 3 times the price and now they will not refund me and are saying that i changed(which i was not eligible to do) and they will not pay for anything and they will take your money and not give it back to you.

POOR SERVICE/LIED TO
Hello. I have been a member of AARP for several years. After 2 years with Humana, I switched to UHC as of Jan 1, based on your endorsement, and because my Endocrinologist wanted me to have a CGM, which Humana did not cover. The agent I spoke to told me that UHC covered it. Actually, they do not. Also, I have been Diabetic for 21 years. Medicare covers Diabetic Equipment at no charge that I asked about. As of March 1, I am switching back to Humana. I don't expect anything to change, I just wanted to report this to you, and I have not paid for Insulin Pen Needles in all that time. Now I am being charged $230.00 for them. Also, they do not cover one of my meds, which all of my insurance providers have covered at no charge. UHC does not cover this one med and has estimated my yearly coat at $55,000.00. I am disappointed that AARP endorses a company that has lied to me about specific coverage. I am a handicapped senior, and I would have to sell my house to cover the costs. I will be posting this on the BBB, UHC and Facebook websites. Thank you.

Uhc claims being denied
Uhc needs to be investigated for fraud. Twice now on two different claims the providers were told the procedures were 100 percent covered. Now they are denyng the claims and the providers are coming after me for payment. Needless to say, I am not paying. Their fight is with uhc not me. If they want their money they should sue them. After all they were the ones who screwed up. All they do is transfer you from one dept to another. The employees have no idea what they are doing. Please stay away from this company.

The Absolute Worst Insurance Healthcare Customer Service 2024
Yesterday I spoke with a representative from your company named Marry, and she was supposed to be calling a Dr. Chad on my behalf, to see if he was accepting new patients. He was located somewhere near the 5400 block of West Capitol Dr in Milwaukee, WI 53216. She never called me back to verify whether or not he was accepting new patients or not. My entire experience with United Healthcare has been an awful experience. As the app you offer patients to use has no updated information as most of the Doctors are no longer working where they are listed, and most of the operators I've personally been speaking with or chatting with have also been giving out wrong information. There are absolutely no follow up calls such as my reasoning for contacting you again today. It's just been one awful experience dealing with United Healthcare. I understand that you're going to apologize on behalf of United Healthcare but please don't, the apologies are pointless.. I just want help finding a doctor that actually works near my house.

Should be 0stars
Should be 0stars. Sent UCard but it doesn't work. After several calls and would not send a replacement card, or activate it to work on their end. Both Walgreens and Walmart pharmacy OTC will not work at all. Walgreens told me the card was for 2023 and NOT 2024; it was expired. It was printed in 2023 but anyway it is no good. My partner got his UCard, worked once, now it doesn't. We are both changing back to Humana. We had UHC back in 2015/2016 and the agent ripped me off. I tried to get my premium back, didn't get anywhere. Then I wrote up their ins agent fraud, and her name and agent ID#. Lo and behold, about a month later, I got my premium back.
If you have problems with UHC, and if
you're on FB or other social media that
UHC utilizes, it might help to post your
complaint there. It took 11 months, trying to deal with UHC, but only a month to refund once I posted on FB. Maybe it was coincidence. But this company will try to rip off Medicare Advantage Plans for those of us that are elderly or disabled!
