United Healthcare deny claims using the excuse of out of network doctors but they advertise that they will pay a partial of the bill to out of network doctors. They lie; and now they want you to present documentation to deter you from the payment request. This is a denial of service with strategic delay to make you give up on the claim. Terrible service will not recommend it.

I’m 25 and deal with my grandparents medical stuff . Never been given such a run around by any company over anything. Get bounced around to 3 different “agents” trying to sort out something as simple as account login issues and they end the chat with no explanation, repeatedly. Impossible to even talk to someone , not even an AI that’s worth anything . Would recommend literally anything else

I am shocked that United Health care denied my out patient surgery for breast revision from breast cancer. I have had it done before due to my breast being constructed differently after having a double mastectomy. I need some revison done again. THEY DENIED IT!! They decided it is not medically necessary! How dare a insurance company denied a breast cancer patient revision. I was told breast cancer surgeries were covered for life! My Blue Cross insurance before this one always approved any surgery regarding my breast cancer. Shame on United for denying a breast cancer patient to feel comfortable in her body. You should be embarrassed by your ratings!!

Worst experience of all times, the fact that one has to call them over 5 times, with no clear expectations whatsoever, and no single point of contact or reply time frame is nothing but failure, I would never advise using their services

United will not cover addiction treatment 100% like they say they would. I have contacted the attorney generals office. Let's see what happens.

Just turned down a job with AAA because they offer the HORRIFIC UHC. What a bummer...wanted this job, but I can't switch my entire medical team or my approved medications. (Have lifetime autorizations at BCBS & Aetna.) UHC is not accepted by my doctors/specialists and they accept dozens of insurers. THAT says a lot. ●Had UHC in the past. They denied infusions that I needed AND denied a necessary surgery. That caused a severe delay in my healthcare NEEDS leading to 5 ER visits, 2 emergency surgeries, and finally the surgery that UHC had cruelly denied. You know what? I should tell my present insurer to bill UHC for all of the health problems they caused by denying NECESSARY SURGERY. 🤬

Run as fast as you can from UHC. They started a referral system which is suppose to be good for 6 months, and 3 months in they removed not one but two of my doctors from service. Doctors hate them because the paperwork tripled and they have to hire extra staff to work through it. The system was designed to deny deny deny coverage, so most of my expenses are out of pocket to see my current doctors since UHC has denied coverage. If you have any other options to get medical coverage from another company, then do it. Better yet, watch the MAHA movie and heal your body naturally without getting caught up in this scam of a company. At no time do they help you, causing serious delays and denial after denial for coverage. The only person you can talk to is in a call center in India or Pakistan, they speak minimal understandable English, and cannot answer basic questions. All designed to frustrate you even further and delay action. My Medicare agent even called her agent hotline and I was in a 3 way call, where a “customer service” rep for agents was rudely told by an rep with a Muslim name to “stop talking” not once but twice on a recorded line. This behavior is wrong on so many levels, but hopefully shows you that UHC is not interested in helping you on any level, they just want you to shut up so they can keep denying you what the doctors have requested.

A company that only cares about profits. To get help with a problem you don't get a representative that barely speaks english. My doctor's office has spent over 30+ hours trying to get help. Don't become another statistic
