The customer service department consists of foreigners that cannot speak or write in English. All they can do successfully is send denial letters even though the procedures are covered. Don't expect them to pay for any dental work even though they offer $1,000.00 dental. Cataract surgery is covered but you'll pay $195 deductable and the full cost for any stigmatism! They should not be allowed to offer insurance...all they do is take your money.

When you use uhc to schedule your uber ride and request a big car there is NO guarantee you will get one. Awful service another UHC disappointnent!!

If I could give united health care a 0 I would. I told them back in January 2026 that I was switching providers. Did they listen. No they didn't. I have called about several issues but they never took care of them. I speak very good English. But most of them where people who could not speak English. This is the main reason I moved on. They need to hire people who speak just ENGLISH.

I am new with them. It is difficult to get the correct help. I have been trying to add my husband to my plan. They send the wrong application via email. that takes three days to send an email. the phone people are like a remote out of USA answer system that tell me it sent the application. never receive it. I cant even get them to add a customer. Its horrible customer service.

THEN LIED AND SAID THEY DID NOT AND DID NOT HAVE A RECORD OF THE LIES !! THESE PEOPLE ARE COMMITTING MEDICARE FRAUD BY PICKING UP TWO PEOPLE AT A TIME AND COMING ONE HOUR EARLY !! MEDICARE TAKES EACH RIDE OUT OF EACH PATIENTS ACCOUNT AND DOUBLE BOOKING IS AGAINST THE LAW AND UHC IS IN ON THIS SCAM !!! THERE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ACCUPUNCTURE PROVIDERS ON OUR PLAN AND THERE ARE NO PROVIDERS IN NETWORK AT ALL !! ANOTHER SCAM !! SOME IF THE DRS AND PHARMACIES UPCODE AND BILL THE PATIENT MORE MONEY THAT IS AGAINST THE LAW !!! I have had seriously bad customer service. The accents of the representatives is difficult to understand. Why put someone on the phone that can barely speak or understand the English language. The wait times are ridiculously long. I would give them a zero star if I could.

If there were zero stars, I would give United Health Care a zero. My husband initially had Blue Criss Blue Shield where he used to work before they relocated elsewhere. And he had to join another firm . I did step therapy for before getting Praluent for high cholesterol. I failed statins, colesevalsm, etzimbe, and Repatha. Praluent is the one that works for me. BCBS approved it year after year since 2019. Fast forward to 2026, and change to United, 2 pa” s have been denied, now it’s in appeal. When trying to contact them, it seems as though Optum Rx and United have two different numbers even though they are the same. On Monday optum rx actually sent me an email the order was ready to ship, so I thought it went thru. On Tuesday, they sent me an email stating they cancelled it because it requires a PA- even though my physician sent two in that were denied like three weeks ago and an appeal is in process. What kind of pharmacy does that? BCBS never did that.
