My original UHC plan was cancelled in 2025 statewide. It has been replaced with a plan with higher copays and referrals for my longstanding specialist treating me for 2 different cancers, my cataract surgeon, and my pain management specialist for spinal stenosis. Just spent 45 minutes with NE Medical Group reps getting referrals set up for these specialist. This new process is onerous. It is ongoing treatment for pre-existing conditions. It only benefits a greedy insurance company hoping an aging population will forget to get the referral within the 6 month window. More hoops to jump through to benefit the insurer.

Missed so many prescriptions and delayed. So many procedures in an effort, to deny valid insurance and physicians' recommendations. Manage by united healthcare. I am saddened by the killing of the ceo. That poor man lost much of his life and now has to spend eternity in hell.

I had UnitedHealthcare for the year of 2025. Some parts of it were good but one thing that they absolutely failed to do is keep their provider directory updated accordingly. I am now receiving denial claims due to UHC and their lack of responsibility. Do law abiding citizens a favor and update your directory accordingly. Don’t just say “this is updated regularly”—yeah, every 6 months! Maybe then you would be liked a little more so people wouldn’t get charged OOP for ridiculous reasons. Oh, and their customer service SUCKS ROYALLY..

UHC raised their copays %37.5 percent for 2026. They're just looking out for you.

I enrolled in United Health Care Advantage plan this year beginning 1/1/26. These fools assigned me a GP in Albuquerque, NM -- I live in Kelso, WA. Worse yet, when I called the help line the nice gentleman from India politely told me he could not fix it and could not enter my current GP which is in Network for United. So, their computer system is garbage and the off shore customer service line is useless.

Actually most of my experience with UHC regarding medical has been good. But, my God, try to reach CS. Philippines are ok, India, not good, now there is AI accent-smoothing that "translates" without the Indian accent. It is totally unusable. It's horrible. I have a UCard with $105 on it, to spend by 12/31, I give up, UHC, fix your customer service! Drop the accent-whitening AI, it does NOT work. I threw my $105 out, what a waste.

Wife in abdominal pain.Dr suspects gall stones orders ct scan. Medicare pays UHC denies stating unnecessary test. They seem to have customer service people schooled in polite rudeness.

(updated at end) I have been trying to get my insurance card, and have paid my first month premium. UHC is completely unable to find the right account that I setup through the healthcare marketplace, and I spent 45 minutes on the phone to someone trying to sort this out. She was very strongly accented, and while pleasant, she was utterly useless. Update: My case was finally escalated to a higher level, and after another long phone call to someone with better English, and a few days wait, my issue was resolved. I did not get any notification that the problem had been corrected, so I still think that there is a huge amount of room for improvement.
