United Health Care is the worst health insurance I have ever had. They take your money and then they take their time either denying or approving part of what you need done. They denied my shoulder mri saying there wasnt enough evidence! Then I have been going to physical therapy now the doctor is holding it up. I am done trying its obvious you want me to be in pain!

This insurance is horrible for medication and they are a joke. Getting on the phone with them is a nightmare. They're rude and talk over you, treat you like you're stupid, and actually hang up on you. How is a prior authorization (that took more than 30 days) denied for the disease it was prescribed for. I'm newly diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Entresto was prescribed, this insurance denied me coverage. Entresto is made for congestive heart failure! Worst insurance ever. Not once has an issue been resolved after talking to them on the phone, at least a dozen phone calls.

I have been trying to get a prescription filled since 4/1/26 (Prestiq name brand) after my doctors did a DNA Profile on me because for 30 years my physicians have not found any drug that works on my severe depression and anxiety. The disease that I have makes my body resistant to medications, this is the ONLY medication that works on my system so United Healtcare knowing this, denies the doctor’s Prior Authorization and Appeals! Stay away for this medical provider they are terrible - first there was not a promary care doctor who would take new pateints within 15 miles from my home - then I called to cancel the policy with 4 weeks notice and was still billed again from my checking account. I tried to call them again and could not talk to a real person - when a real person came on they told me they did not handle cancleation and hung up - I called back 3 more times & got the automatied system that kept hanging up on me. Then i called the 5th time finally got someone who told me had to call maryland health connection - I was not told that last month when i called to cancel- this compnay steals your money - has no providers and provides terrible cusotme service

THEY GET A MINUS -0000. HORRIBLE PPL & CS, THEY ARE IGNORANT TO THE MEDICAL TERMINALOGY. THEY CAN'T PRONOUNCE THE MEDICAL SPECIALIST PROFFESIONS AND THEY LIE AND PLACATE YOU. I HAVE A SEROIUS HEALTH ISSUE & NEED EMERGENCY SURGERY AND 4 WEEKS INTO IT HAVE DENIED THE SURGEON THAT'S ON THEIR ROSTER. IN FACT, THEIR INCOMPETENCE & STUPIDITY IS SO BLATENT & OUTRAGEOUS, THAT YOU FEEL YOU'RE IN A MACE WITH NO RESOLVE. IT'S A MICKEY MOUSE OUTFIT AND THEY'RE HIGHER UPS ARE JUST AS STUPID AND THEY SPIN YOU IN LIES AND THROW IT BACK ON YOUR LAP. THESE SOBS IN THESE HEALTH CARE BUSINESSES AND THE REGIME AT THE TOP, THAT CUT SERVICES FOR THE CITIZENS OF THE USA. ARE CORRUPT, INMORAL, SADISTIC, INHUMANE MF'S!

DO NOT GET INSURANCE WITH UNITED HEALTHCARE The service is absolutely terrible, your PCP will randomly "go out of network" and not inform you in the midst of critical health crisis and the customer service is deplorable. No one ever knows what they're talking about and they constantly run you through hoops and redirect you to different people to talk to who also don't know what to do. I only got them through my employer, but this is THE WORST insurance I've ever worked with. With all the negative reviews, it's unfathomable how they're still an active company.

Do not sign up for their supplemental Medicare plan. I signed up 1 yr ago and everything the guy said they would pay they don't. Even has 90.00 deductible for standard blood work. Prescriptions are not paid in full. The monthly OTC dropped by 15.00 1st 6 mo. Total ripoff of the government and consumer.
