If I could rate zero Stars I would. This is absolutely capitalism on steroids. Despite enormous monthly payments they pay for nothing.. this is absolute garbage. If your employer offer this, run and seek something else. Disgusting

Since enrolling this past year, I have had 2 primary care doctors dropped from the plan. The first time I was forced to switch was early June and the second time was today. Twice in a little over 2 months!! The sole reason for switching to United Health was that my previous plan was discontinued and I wanted to keep my doctor. The customer support is abysmal. The entire experience is bad.

I am a customer of United Healthcare as well as a Medical Biller and they are the worst scam company out there. I work for a Doctors office and have been a Medical Biller for over 20 years. I have been trying to get the Doctor to drop them, but he is a good, caring Dr and doesnt want it all about the money, because he is not getting paid from United Healthcare as he should. He states that would cause many patients to not get the Medical care they need as he is a Specialist, he doesnt want to do that to them. I wish everyone would get together and get a class action lawsuit against them. Since money is all they care about, hit them where it hurts. I have AARP supplement and its the only good thing about United except every year it goes up, I am now paying $250.00 a month for an insurance that only pays 20% after Medicare. I cant switch because the other supplements wont take me due to my heart issues. But all of the other United Healthcare plans that are primary plans as well as the Medicare Advantage Plans are HORRIBLE. I have been dealing with them for all of my 20 years experience, since 2022 at the office I currently work for. Just spent the entire day so far trying to get payment for services rendered to patients.

Canceled my new policy before the premium was taken from my bank account. Was assured by their people that nothing would be taken. Lie. I called twice to make sure the policy was cancelled and on both calls I revoked any permision to do anything with my bank account. Was told again nothing would be deducted. Just Liars. Tried to hit my account the very next day from the first phone call. Was rejected by my bank. There were no funds in the account. Then six days later they hit my account again. This time at 11pm. That went through. Don't beleive anything this company tells you. It's probably a lie.

Since enrolling in this crap company from.cigna, everythimg has doubled in price costs. In addition, their medical transpprt company they use is called saferide and they will call you.up 2 hours before yoir scheduled doctors appointment to cancel your medical transportation. Goimg back to Cigna in a few more months . I am very dissatisfied with united shitcare

I know a disabled veteran that is own Medicare and medicated that also has united health care and out of the blue they stopped helping with her medicine she has to pay full price.

Awful company, denied treatment that was available last year. They said the hospital where I am going for treatment was not in network (they are) and that I could call in a refill for a prescription medication without a doctor! Yay, then why am I overpaying for treatment when I can just call in what I need? The customer service rep, most likely overseas somewhere in a call center, has no idea what they are talking about; they just talk and call it customer service. Joke of a company, and I will be leaving them at the end of the year. I am fed up with United. What a horrible, awful joke of an insurance company. It might be funny if they weren't actively killing people with their "business model"

I recommend people really look into this insurance and what they offer before you sign up. I have had the insurance for many years. I’ve never had a problem until the past two years. rules and what you’re allowed are changing rapidly, although you might be able to buy lenses and get your yearly eye exam, (now with a co-pay for each) they do not cover frames (up to a certain dollar amount only) annually. They only cover frames every other year. so when you go get your eyes checked on that off year your options are use your old glasses that are bent, buy frames out of pocket or walk around holding your lenses to your eyes for an entire year - until they let you use your benefits to get frames. I have never heard of anything more ridiculous in my life, but this is now what is happening. There are co-pays for eye exams, there’s co-pays for lenses, there’s co-pays for your frames and now they are getting so cheap they don’t allow frames with the annual eye exam and annual lenses. it literally makes no sense whatsoever. I feel people should be informed. read the fine print and don’t trust that an insurance that worked in the past will continue to work. I’ve learned my lesson. I highly recommend people go elsewhere.
