Terrible site and poor customer service. Will not allow me to post since I have more than one apartment available. They also assume everyone that posts owns each property. Most do not. I would avoid this site.

this is a landlord service, very unfriendly to the tenant. after taking an invasive amount of personal information it does what it wants, and there is no way for the tenant to reach a live person. their phone number is for 'premier members', i.e. landlords. there is no chat. there is an email address which they do not respond to. i have sent several emails over a period of several days and gotten no response. tenant cannot even close its account! there is no way to do that online, and as stated above, they do not reply to the support email address.

Update: TurboTenant just went ahead and cancelled our accounts without notifying us. When we enter our emails we get a message that says no accounts have been found. Was it because of this review? We are paying separately for each account and at this point we just stranded. We have over 30 tenants that now are just unable to access their info on TurboTenant or submit a payment. We have multiple accounts with them for different owners we manage properties for and we just noticed that text messages from one owner's account are showing on another account and vice versa. We reached to them and basically they said this is because we have too many tabs open and access accounts through so many devices. Really sad how they put the burden of their incompetence in our shoulders. This is very typical from TurboTenant. Not the first time they just wash their hands and fail to take ownership for the technical issues they have. This is also a huge privacy concern, tenants communicate private info all the time and they no longer have the certainty that their info is being well protected.

I am a premium user. It's overall a good product, however, you do NOT need it. You can get better AND more leads from Zillow for free and use Zillow for almost everything that TurboTenant provides. Use a Google Form instead of their inflexible pre-screening form. Zillow publishes your listing immediately and on 3 websites, where as it took 3 days for TurboTenant to post my listing anywhere (they claimed 2 days!) I bareley get any leads from TurboTenant and the few that I have got are from Realtor and Redfin which you can post there yourself if needed (you dont need it, Zillow is more than enough). They do not post on Facebook or Craigslist for you and you have to do it yourself, which is frustrating and ineffective any way. They have some landlord/tenant-related forms which is amazing and so I gave them 2 stars for that. Don't get me wrong, its a good tool, but as a landlord you don't need it at all. UPDATE: I downgraded it fron 2 to 1 star. Their app is buggy, creating a customized lease agreement was a horrible and frustrating experience. You can't even download and modify, since they lock it. I ended up using another service. I also used their marketing service and barely got any leads fro. the websites they post your property on. The 2-3 leads that I got were weak or not serious (compared to 10+ submitted applications via Zillow and 50+ contacts from Zillow. 130$ wasted on the premium account for the year but I will surely ditch them for good. I am on boarding my tenant through Zillow and will stop using TurboTenant already.

I had high hopes for this company, but I am frustrated and upset with their accounting processes. They have poor customer service and have raised their prices over 100% year over year. They even started charging my tenants extra fees without notice (ACH). AVOID this company.

Terrible company! I used them all the time, when I switched to a new property management company I tried to use their "free" listing service. I was immediately suspended. I sent an email to support asking why I was suspended, they explained I was flagged as a broker. I am not, nor have ever been a broker or real estate agent. I was asked to provide my drivers license, documentation from the property management company I worked for, and an agreement between the owners of the property and I. In this case I was able to involve the owners, however typically with a property management company, the owners would not be invovled and this would make absolutely no sense to ask for. I provided the documentation copying the owners on the emails as well. They told me the suspension was permanent. When i asked why, they told me they do not provide their reasons. The owners inquired multiple times asking how they could get the account reactivated with no responses. The owners are not even allowed to set up an account, nor is our property management company. Basically, if you do not pay for their services, they flag you as a broker and no longer allow you to use the site. There is no way to reach any other customer service.

Just plain and simple — horrible. They don’t respond to any concerns. You just get boilerplate emails. Horrible!!!

I had a tenant that was having trouble signing a lease. I sent them an email and danny responded but seemed more interested in closing the support call than helping the tenant or myself. Very poor customer service
