If you're a landlord I recommend doing the rent transaction outside of TT. IF A TENANT DISPUTES A CHARGE EVEN IF A LEASE IS BROKEN THEY VOUCH FOR THE TENANT AND TAKE YOUR FUNDS FROM YOUR ACCOUNT. Other then that it's an alright tool.

Hi Gabe,
We're sorry to hear that you had this experience with a tenant. As a property management software platform, we want to clarify that any rental payment disputes should be handled with your tenant. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with our support team at [email protected].

Scam an agent is asking for social…
Scam an agent is asking for social security cards to confim identity and not a picture ID. In all my years of renting I have never been asked to send my social and not my ID. How would they know it’s me. Smh.

DISCRIMINATING BASED ON DISABILITY IS A CRIME
I applied for an apartment and it’s been almost 6 weeks without any word. I call the agent daily and just get a text saying she hasn’t heard from the landlord yet. I am going to do a thorough review of any results I am given. This process feels like discrimination. I am disabled and my entire lease is paid by a program designed to help those with disabilities live independently. Every applicant should be screened using the same axact process. That is the law. Am I supposed to sleep in the street? I’ve vacated my last place of 22 years and was given a great reference. My rent is guaranteed by the program and I have never had an eviction or bankruptcy. The agent informed me that 6 weeks is the usual time it takes for applications to process. Outright lies. Yes, this is a familiar feeling and if I am right in my suspensions, I know how to elevate this.

How are we just suppose to live
So the housing market is absolutely ridiculous! Are we suppose to live on the streets?
I found a house and a place to live through turbotenant and apartmentlist.com but the “landlord” ended up being a scammer! He said we can meet and finish up the paperwork tomorrow. I couldn’t find the actual address. He said, All my wife and I is looking for is a good and responsible applicant for our home. Seriously! Bad English and saying they need someone good! They aren’t good themselves!! His name is Kirk Wells! Be aware!

Prior landlords need to be able to update prior recommenu
Prior landlords aren’t allowed to update a review and have no info on the new landlord to warn about changes or bad news regarding tenants.

Just applied for a place...Never again with this website.
Just applied for a place. I didn't remember the email to my Landlord from a long time ago so I put mine and explained to the new landlord.
This is how I found out THEY EMAIL YOUR LANDLORD FOR A REVIEW ON YOU!
This SHOULD NOT be a thing!
This allows the current landlord to make things up if they want to...NEVER USE THIS WEBSITE!
If you have a terrible landlord like me and you want to get out, this website literally will prevent you from moving...

Easy for hackers to access accounts
I liked the site at first. Until I got message that my password and email was changed. A hacker hacked into my account changed the name, email and password on my account and locked me out my own account. I was responded to the password and email change emails, so far no response. Ive been messaging and emailing them cause there is no phone number. No help as of yet. It shows they read my messages on the site.
All my tenants information and leases were on the site, now I don't gave access to it. Im beyond frustrated.

IT IS NOT FREE
IT IS NOT FREE. You will have to buy their products, like allow them to run the prospect's background, and also allow them to write the lease.
Do not let them full yourself. They have no idea how the market works in Arizona. They do not ask any questions about the applicant's background, credit worth, rental history, job history, etc, etc... and if you tell them that you will write the lease, they still want to charge the applicant for the application fee. And then, of course, you will have to charge the applicant again for the application fee, and that is when things get ugly. No one will pay for application fee twice. And there is more, if they advertise your properties, a maximum of 5, you will not get one lead. They will control it. Your property will be advertised for a month and you will not get one lead. And then you call them, and they come up with a bunch of excuses...

Hi there, Richard,
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. While we do have some items available for purchase, we offer our online property management software for free. Our software features a free rent payment collection system, rental listing advertising, maintenance requests, tenant management, and much more.
Additionally, with our system, you are not required to use our rental application or leases. You're able to run your own rental application and can even upload your own lease into our free property management system. We sincerely apologize if this wasn't clear during your time using our service.
Regarding rental listing advertising, we do not have a limit on how many properties you can advertise for free at one time. When you receive a lead, they will show up in your landlord account under the "Leads" tab.
To help clear up any additional concerns or questions, we would love to speak to you further. Unfortuantely, we could not locate you in our TurboTenant database to do so. If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Customer Support team at [email protected]. Your experience is very important to us!
Best,
Rachel and the TurboTenant team
