I heard about TrueLink from my friend's lawyer when I became the trustee of her Special Needs Trust. She inherited money but not enough to live on, so we had to put the money in trust for her to keep receiving SSI. TrueLink is easy for lay people to use, and they respond quickly to customer service emails. My only critique is that I wish their categories of included/excluded stores could be refined more, to allow certain purchases but not others at the same type of store. For instance, my friend needs to use the trust money to buy prescriptions and home goods, but Walmart and drug stores also sell food, which is not an allowed use of the trust under SSI rules.

I use True Link for our Payee clients to receive their benefits. I am truly happy with their service as a whole. They are quick to handle all issues, their customer service is great, and managing client's benefits and spending is easy to track. I have 0 complaints.

I provide guardian/conservator services to my community. True Link Financial has made not only my job easier but my clients happier! The system is very easy to use, efficient, and they do not delay in communicating. I recommend True Link Financial over and over again!

I run a Payee Service and received exceptional service from all the staff I have come in contact with at TrueLink. This service is a tremendous help in managing our client’s funds and gets their money to them the quickest method possible.

No app. Must type in social security and birthdate to login which if you are on an unsecured network is not smart. And the website is straight out of the 1990s. I’m in a situation where a conservator wants me to use this company and while the service might be great for the ones who manage the account, the user experience is poor at best. Card doesn’t have modern features like tap to pay or spending notifications. Routing number is through sunrise banks who then either is linked to or owns truelink. Edit. Beware of transfers because truelink will not show the card users name on the routing number. Will raise flags with trying to load your own card through payroll.

I am always able to get a quick and reliable response whenever I ask a question or need help.

As the parent of an adult dual-diagnosis individual, I have found that the True Link debit card has allowed me to breath again. My child has enough freedom to shop for his needs but no access to unrestricted funds to abuse. He has been as grateful as I have been. He is learning to manage his financial life successfully. True Link has been an absolute blessing for our family. We use it for my Mom who has Dementia and was going through thousands of dollars a month. For anyone who is trying to let their loved ones remain independent but monitor their buying this is the cars for you! The best feature is being able to turn off some stores/sites for purchases. No more Facebook purchases from China with no way to return!! No more having her card hacked because of the sites she signed on to. Thank you!!
