Love the concept and it is helping keep my mother’s expenditures in check. However, the length of time between funding and the dollars showing up on the card is entirely too long.

We've been using True Link for about a year, and it has been an amazing tool for my elderly mother. We were having issues with her clicking out of Facebook to buy sham supplements that she wouldn't remember ordering - and that she definitely should not have been taking. Now she's still able to shop on Amazon, order groceries from Instacart, and get her hair done, but the ability to set spending limits and keep her from being able to buy anything by click out of social media has been a game changer. It is a little clunky when she needs to pay for her medical appointments or other items using her card, since we don't always know exactly how they'll show up. We need to try the purchase, wait for the decline email, then go into that email and approve the purchase. Now that we know it works that way, we make sure her doctors and other providers know. But overall, I highly, highly recommend the tool for helping to manage spend and combat fraud. I don't have to worry anymore if she loses her card or someone manages to get her information - they really can't spend much of anything due to the limits we have on her account. A wonderful product!!!

I needed an Able debit card for my daughter. When I had trouble activating it, it took a few days before I was told why. Once I submitted the documents needed, activation was very fast. Thank you, True Link!

Works well for elderly parents to manage spending and limit unauthorized use. Only complaint is that I cant link cards to financial management software, so I have to manually input all activity.

Pretty easy way to track your loved one's spending who needs extra help. Once you get used to the quirks, it's okay. I do think deposits should be able to hit the card on Monday's though since both Saturday and Monday's are banking days. If you send money before the cutoff time on Friday though, it won't show up until Tuesday.

Very easy to use. Good communication - responsive to questions or issues. I would like to have a bit more information available - on purchases and more options on spending limits / withdrawals. I would recommend them.

This product truly meets a need for someone struggling to manage/understand money.

It was a little hard to setup at first but once you get that first transfer to work, it’s great to have the controls for my elderly family member with memory problems.
