My Photos turned out beautiful! I wanted to make them look older so I put them in the outside in the hot sun (95degrees) for 2 days, and they didn't fade or yellow. I'll have to think of something else. These photos are not prone to aging! The service is very fast, and the people there are very accommodating. I highly recommend this service.

I have half a boxful of Brownie (116 film) negatives from 1920 to 1950. They weren't the best quality when developed, and 80 years of rough handling have left their share of scratches and fingerprint marks. I scanned them in (1200 dpi) w/ an Epson V600 scanner, and used Picassa to convert to B&W and do some tonal adjustments (mainly just "auto contrast"); otherwise did nothing. The prints came out beautiful! Absolutely fantastic. Fromex can't correct for 1920 out-of-focus, 1930s light leaks around the edges, and 1940s scratches. But discounting that, the results far surpassed my expectations of what they would look like. Definitely coming back for more.

I happened upon Fromex True Black and White a few months ago looking for a quality photo print shop. My first order was delivered to my house within a few days. The prints were sharp and the contrasting grey was perfect. I've since placed more orders with the same results and service. I recommended Fromex to a college of mine whose work appears in international magazines and he too was extremely satisfied how quick and easy it is to get quality prints for a reasonable cost. I have high praise for FROMEX. Their prints were exactly what I wanted and expected and I am grateful to have found an outfit that creates true black and white prints. My photographs were old black and white prints of family members from years ago - not anything artistic but certainly very valuable to me.

I grew up with a dark room and shooting and printing mostly black and white photos. Now that the world is digital (and I don't have time to putter in a darkroom), I have been looking for a service that will print true black and white photos. I found Fromex and the quality of the prints and speed of service is good. What I would like to make it even better: I have an account, but my photos that I upload, edit and crop and not stored for the future. If I wanted a reprint, I would need to start over. I would like to have options for 11x14 and 16x20 true black and white prints. These are common sizes for prints (and there are lots of frame choices), but the largest standard size is 8x10 and then some odd sizes like 10x15. It's OK to have these odd sizes for panoramic purposes and different digital framing, but it would be really great to have 11x14 and 16x20 options. Lastly, as far as I know, everything is printed on RC paper. It would be great to have a mat fiber based option for archival quality prints. sincerely, TG
