WHAT A SCAM. Ordered these a year ago. At first I got a response in my emails but now, nothing. Also their website is down....what a waste of $90. Also, their email is now not working when I try to contact them.

I ordered a raised bowl set 9 months ago. In September, I emailed to touch base and was told shipments were going out daily and that it shouldn't be much longer; waiting another 2 months, I just sent an email last week...not getting any response, I went to their website saying it was currently unavailable and noticed they were "away" on their Facebook page. I never received any communication about liquidation or not being able to fulfill customer orders. Obviously very disappointed, I reached out to my credit card company and, luckily, was able to get a credit issued. I'm sorry to everyone that was scammed. Trot Pets really let A LOT of people down.

I think the company shut down and ran away with all the preorder money. Their email is no longer active, and there's no response on their website chat. Update: the company is requesting more information from all of the negative reviews, hoping people won't respond so their reviews will be deleted. If they want me to delete my review, they should send the product I paid for. Update 2: The company is now trying to mark all poor reviews as fake. They really are doing anything except for sending me the items I paid for. Do not trust this company!

It is disgusting that this company's website is still running and taking orders. Like others, I ordered two feeders from this company and have received several "update" emails over the last six months promising that the orders were being manufactured & would be delivered...and nothing ever arrived. Last week I get an email that the company has declared bankruptcy and instructions on how to file a claim. Whether I will ever see that $218.00 back, I don't know.

I feel bad for this fledgling company. They had a great idea that launched during the pandemic with the epic manufacturing and transportation slow-downs. Since they manufactured in China, getting product to the US wasn't easy. I waited several months and when I enquired about my order I received polite, upbeat messages assuring me I'd get my order. I did receive the bowls, but not the lids for the bowls. I was assured I would get those in two weeks, but they never came. The bowls I received are in the beautiful canary yellow, are high quality, and are meant to last a lifetime. The company has a great product - just an inability to deliver. Sadly, my English bulldog outgrew his speedy eating before I received the set and no longer needs a puzzle bowl...so I will likely sell mine. The thing is - this company set out with a great idea, enthusiasm, great staff. The encountered insurmountable production issues. To their credit, when I contacted them regarding the delay the offered me a refund every single time. They were NOT trying to take anyone's money. They truly thought they would make a difference in the pet market. I wish them luck in the future.

I ordered a set of Trot Pets Dog bowls in November 2021. Having supported many start ups over the years, I was not surprised at the delays, knowing that there are always problems. Trot Pets had a social media presence and I was kept apprised of delays and anticipated deliveries. That is, until Oct 29, 2022 I receive an email from someone I don't know, notifying me, "NOTICE OF ASSIGNMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF CREDITORS AND DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING CLAIMS" without any other explanation, was this a bankruptcy, is it a scam? At the same time social media has been turned off for comments. They have my money and have had it for a year, now I cannot even ask for a refund.

Backed them through Indiegogo in November 2021. The initial promised delivery date was January 2022. Since January 2022, we have seen very sparse communication from the company and every time we heard from them, the delivery dates were pushed back month after month. Q1 2022, the FB page went into a mode where they required admin approval on every post and they of course blocked any post that was negative or inquiring about when the orders would ship. Customer service communicated in early September 2022 that my order was "on a ship" that was due to arrive by the ending of September 2022 and reassured me my order would be shipped shortly after. It is now 10/28/2022 and I have not heard a thing from Trot. Despite reaching out 4 times in October alone, customer service has just stopped responding. Their Facebook page was frozen on 10/19/2022 with all comments under the "admin approved" posts deleted. The CEO and Co-Founder have updated their profiles to remove all ties to Trot Pets on LinkedIn. Complete scam.

Bought a pre-order of two bowls with the feeder stand. I was willing to wait a bit (hence, pre-order) but I ordered back in August and still no bowls. I did contact the company and they told me they would be shipping "soon" but no real updates. I am so bummed. I LOVED the concept of these bowls but I'm not thrilled being out $128 for dog bowls and nothing but delays. All their social feeds have been deleted. I am disputing with my credit card. BUYER BEWARE.
