I studied at UC Berkeley and at Middlebury (Monterey) Institute of International Studies. TUI was every bit as academically challenging and rewarding as those institutions. If you are serious about a high level online academic experience, TUI is as good as it gets.

I registered believing that i would receive instruction and insight into higher education. I began with Touro University International that offered "College Presidency" and "Finance". Then the new TUI took away those two courses and now no coursework to give me a clue as to how to integrate my knowledge in securing an admin college job. Last Trident. Three takeovers and little conversation on why. I felt as if i were self-promoted chattel. The Advisors were useless: they were "messengers". There was no mentoring or assignment of a coach in this internet costly experience. I relied on classmates & felt that my very expensive doctoral experience was similar to walking in the Sinai Desert. I overextended my stay due to ambiguity and little support during the proposal and research phase. I admit to having no prior research skills which was a severe hindrance, but what was the university's responsibility to me? Research proves a better student outcome when there is connection to faculty. Thank God for Dr. Wengli. But she came later on. My doctoral chair was disrespectful to me and my work: i felt demeaned and humiliated under his guidance. We terminated our interaction which set me back and selayed my research phase. I could recommend a better program design. Start with hiring knowledgeable faculty advisors, mentors and eliminate advisor/messengers.

A truly innovative university, A university that provides support and has a great doctoral, PhD program. It has been my pleasure to have graduated from TUI.

My time was not wasted. I worked harder for the PhD. It was competitive. Working and making good use of my quantitative knowledge n the job..

I have earned a PhD at Trident and very proud of it as it has taken several years. While some professors eventually helped me to succeed for a very long time I was paying top dollars to remain enrolled while writing up my dissertation. I 'failed' the first proposal course so in order to re-take it and pass it I had to pay thousands of dollars. Also, there was no clear direction in such a key part of the course. It would have been a much better experience if there was not the financial part involved which obviously places this school on the business side far more than the educational one. There is no cost involved while one takes a sabbatical (I also got ill at some stage but had to keep on paying otherwise I was losing my enrollment!). What a shame as this chool could have a very high potential being accredited. Also, as an alumna there is no activity going on. Just a site where you sign up but then other than marketing emails there is not much going on. There are other very reputable schools now online with a much more ethical approach when it comes to money.

Completed my Ph.D. in 2003. Chair and panel were dedicated and attentive to my needs. Had to change topics but then all went smoothly. Highly recommended for candidates with busy schedules.

I completed a PhD in Educational Leadership and Master's of Education. This was an incredible and life-changing experience for me as a returning graduate student. The dissertation process requires a high level of autonomy and self sufficiency. Therefore, depending on your prior institution, you may find difficulty in leading independent research. As Trident was the university I attended prior to entering their PhD, I was well prepared.

My experience with Trident, then Touro University, was very positive. Great Professors, solid platform, well designed program. I enjoyed working with the Trident/Touro team. My time at Trident helped me get a position as an Adjunct Professor teaching Business and Leadership.
