Dear Robert, We sincerely apologize for the long wait times you've experienced trying to reach AIG (not TravelInsurance.com) regarding your AIG policy. While their call center is available 24/7, there are increased hold times right now due to millions of Americans calling travel insurance companies policy modification centers all at the same time regarding COVID-19 / Omicron. You can also reply to your policy documents email to open a support ticket or use the call back function in the phone system for the insurer to call you back and you won't lose your place in line. Have a nice day and please stay safe and healthy! Best, Emilia TravelInsurance.com

Dear John, We sincerely apologize for the long wait times you've experienced trying to reach one of our insurance carrier partners. All of our travel insurance carrier partners are experiencing significantly higher call and email volumes from customers concerned about the Coronavirus. The insurers do not give us the power or ability to handle refunds (they can only do it from their internal systems), and if they did, we would do it swiftly for you. We understand your frustration and can offer some suggestions. Many of our partners have a live chat capability on their websites, which may offer a more immediate contact. You may also email many of our providers at their customer service email contacts. We do care deeply for our customers and understand long wait times when calling an insurance company can be super frustrating. Unfortunately, this is an unprecedented situation where the Coronavirus has caused millions of people to all be contacting the insurance companies at the same time, which is overwhelming their systems. Have a nice day and please stay safe and healthy! Best, Emilia TravelInsurance.com
