This was, by far, the best trip I have ever taken! I am very well travelled, and I can honestly say, without reservation, that this trip, this adventure, was by far the best one I have experienced in my life! The tours of St. Petersburg and Moscow were incredible, led by very experienced guides who were passionate about their cities. The Volga Dream river boat was phenomenal! The crew were so friendly, the food amazing and the atmosphere magnificent. I learned so much from our lecturer, and our Cruise Director Olga had a lot of fun activities planned for us passengers. The Chef Andrew, Hospitality Director Olga and Captain Dmitry helped make the voyage fun and entertaining. I especially enjoyed the nightly bulletins left on our pillows outlining the next day's activities and trivia about where we were going. The cities picked for the cruise were very different from each other, and really afforded passengers different view points and historical points. Very well done! My recommendation is to take this trip, and plan to have a beyond words experience. I would also recommend flying into St. Petersburg a day or two ahead of the tour schedule to become adjusted to the time difference and get to know the city. Travel All Russia will have my business for a long time! I have recommended this company to family, friends and colleagues. Thank you for the adventure of a lifetime!

The professionalism of Travel All Russia was outstanding. They were always easy to get in touch with and handled the itinerary, train tickets, driver and excellent guide. Our guide, Natalia, was a lovely young woman who was able to get us past all the lines so we covered a lot of territory. She knew the history of Russia well. She made sure that we saw all the sights we were interested in and answered all our questions. Our driver, (I am not sure how to pronounce his name but we called him Arthur) was a knowledgeable driver and made sure to take and pick us up on time. I have given all of my relatives the info on this Tour Group and encouraged them to visit St. Petersburg.

Travel all Russia made our arrangements and it was all perfect. We stayed at the Petro Palace Hotel, nice rooms, nice bathrooms, clean, ample breakfast, nice staff and a superb location-between the St Isaaks Cathedral and Nevsky Prospect. We were picked up at the airport, our guide and driver were superb. Everything was arranged ahead of time, so we never had to wait anywhere. It just couldn't have been better and we are so pleased. The logistics of the trip were very well thought out,with no hiccups.One needs to have a bit of an open mind and not get menopausel if there is a glitch ( which there wasn't ) Having the odd free day or morning gives you a chance to recharge your batteries without having to worry about the next stage. The couriers (guides) certainly knew their subjects and from our perspective were as interested in our country as we were in theirs !, which makes for a good rapport. I would however recommend a lighter lunch on the specified days.

Have NO criticisms or suggestions s other than the St. Petersburg night river cruise needed a commentary if what we were seeing

We had a wonderful time everything went as scheduled. Our guides Olga and Michael were very good. Olga was the very best We believe the Corinthian should not be used! I discussed my reasons with Ben. This is not a safe hotel.

My trip was greatly enhanced by touring the Golden Ring for the first few days. This extension gave me a great appreciation for the history of the Russian common people, not just the nobility who inhabited the fabulous palaces. Also, it was not crowded there and the guides were very welcoming and knowledgeable. In St. Petersburg, I would like to recommend the Faberge Museum which is just off Nevsky Prospect. It wasn't crowded at all and was just fabulous. The lack of crowds meant that it was possible to get right up to the breathtaking exhibits and take time to look closely at them. It's a small place and can be easily added to the afternoon of any of the days in St. Petersburg. I had such a great experience and I am planning to continue traveling with Travel All Russia/Firebird Tours.
