Both of our guides, Olga in Moscow and Michael in St. Petersburg, were excellent! They were extremely knowledgeable. The itinerary was perfect. Lots of great sights to see. One sight was more fascinating than the next. The hotels were exceptional. We would recommend your tour to anyone!

Moscow and St Petersburg are wonderful cities but our experience was compromised by unfortunate very cold and wet weather. Olga, our Moscow guide, tried valiantly in spite of clearly being unwell. She went out of her way to be welcoming but spending protracted time visiting countless underground stations (which are amazing) to keep out of the rain was tedious. Alternative museums or galleries would have been a preferred option. She,however, was head and shoulders above our St. Petersburg guide. Humourless but with an encyclopaedic knowledge delivered in a monotone, only to hit the "pause" button, mid - sentence when his 'phone rang was poor. Far too much "free time" without suggestions or guidance as to places to explore on one's own, or suggestions where to eat.Minimal knowledge of the published itinerary upon arrival or what was scheduled next day and inability or lack of interest to learn guests' names or origins.The Winter Palace (Hermitage) being rushed through with massive crowds is not what we paid for in a Private Tour. Other options, when less crowded, are available and offered by other companies. Peterhof's wonderful gardens were dampened by the weather but not including a visit inside the Palace was very poor when many other companies offer this.Joining lines or queues to obtain tickets is perhaps the norm for Russia - maybe there is a better system!! Michail,our guide in the amazing Faberge Museum was very good,introducing us to many of the treasures in that collection with courtesy and knowledge.Even so, the pre-booked time was not available necessitating more waiting. While we are keen to re-visit these wonderful cities we will be trying to find companies able to deliver what they claim to in their promotional information.Regrettably, Travel All Russia failed to deliver.

Working with Travel All Russia was easy...they customized the tour to meet our individual needs. The guides in both St. Petersburg and in Moscow were extremely knowledgeable and their English was excellent. The hotel accommodations were fabulous--within walking distance of great restaurants and shopping. We had a wonderful trip and we would certainly use them again if we ever go back to Russia.

My son and I took the Volga Dream river cruise (from St. Petersburg to Moscow). It was amazing. The sites were wonderful and the guides were excellent. The food ... I cannot even describe how wonderful the food was. Russia is a beautiful country and we got to see and experience a wonderful part of it. We got way more than what we paid for, in my opinion. It was an excellent investment in memories and experiences. Someday we hope to return.

The experience matched the brochure. The guides (two of them) were knowledgable about the sites we visited, their English was perfect and it was a pleasure to meet them every day of the tour. Altogether a worth while experience.

The trip was well planned by the company which allowed us to see the major sites without being tiring, which was important as we are in our early 70's. The lunches provided with the tour were excellent. Our guide's English was excellent and our driver was terrific. He was always there waiting for us. They were very helpful in meeting our few special requests. The hotel was very nice and well located in the city, making it easy to get out and walk the city's major street. Hotel staff was very helpful and spoke excellent English. We felt very comfortable during the whole trip.

Visiting Russia was a cautious dream for years but TravelAll Russia was knowledgable and made us feel comfortable starting from the planning stages through to our return flight. ALL of our concerns were addressed. They helped us to obtain our documents, including some we didn't even know we needed, all in a very timely manner. Once we arrived, they made us feel like celebrities. We were picked up at the airport and driven to our hotel. There is NO WAY we could have driven ourselves. Russian drivers make NYC cabbies look like amateurs. It was so cool to experience but I wouldn't want to be a driver there. The hotels in Moscow and St. Petersburg were very well located. During our free time it was just a short walk to restaurants, stores, and sights. I would stay in both hotels again in a heartbeat. We aren't into 5-star places and asked for 3-stars. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and all conveniences were available. Our drivers were awesome, again that celebrity feel of door-to-museum door service, without ever waiting! Friendly too! Our guides were very knowledgable and friendly as well. She'd collect our tickets and lead us to the head of the line every time. I felt bad for the hordes of cruise and land tourists who stood in lines or groups, then had to follow a guide who carried a flag in the air. They looked like bored school kids. Having a private guide and driver for just the three of us was really worth the extra cost. The museums are immense, so we gave her a list of what we wanted to see and asked her to show us 2-3 of her favorites. It worked out so well! Again, as we were enjoying several minutes admiring our choices, we saw the hordes walking as a group and without the personal insight our guide provided. The guides were fantastic, like meeting a friend for the week. They showed us everything we wanted to see and were always within close proximity, but at the same time gave us distance for private family time. They were also full of travel tips and always had bottled water on hand. Her restaurant suggestions were absolutely perfect and we tried foods that I now crave back home. The museums, subways (which are like museums and shouldn't be missed), churches, gardens, restaurants, and all the sights exceeded our expectations. Part of me wanted to get on FaceBook to post, but the better part of me preferred savoring every moment with my full attention! I will go back again, and I will use TravelAll.
