The Trailer Valet is a good product…
The Trailer Valet is a good product just be prepared to work a bit. It helps me get my boat into my trailer, making up for how bad I am at backing it in with a longer truck and boat and not so much space between storage units. But it takes time and work. My biggest worry to date is that it is already getting rust around the ring that connects to the mount on the trailer. While my boat is a salt water boat, I've kept the Trailer Valet far from salt water. It only goes on the trailer when I'm storing the boat -- that means 3 hours after a complete car/boat wash near the coast where all salt water was rinsed away. (3 hours because that is how far I drive to get to the coast.) Still, it is doing the job I bought it for!

We do recommend limited salt water exposure but a rinse and regular maintenance should help keep the rust at bay.
