My experience with this product is once connected to the hitch receiver, the ball on the trailer valet moves in the socket created by this connection. No matter how tight I make the collar on the Trailer Valet, it still wanders in the socket causing the collar to loosen. This has led to the trailer receiver being bent where I have had to hammer it out. If I keep using it, I will eventually have to have a new receiver installed.
