Ordered a JX-5S and received in a box that had fallen apart, missing the mounting parts. Spent 3 weeks trying to get them to replace it; sent me some mounting parts, but wound up sending me the wrong parts. Spent a week trying to get them to send the correct parts. Jack may or may not be great, can't tell, as I cant use it, thanks to customer service that is so disfunctional.

Size of side bracket is too small for most trailers. Bracket will not fit on common 6” high frames. Trailer Valet simply responds when told of the problem “ we are aware of the issue”.

Honestly, I was so excited to buy it. I shopped for a few weeks and although the price was up to 3X as high as other comparable products, I liked the sturdiness, appearance and video that came with the sales pitch. Just as honestly, I hate the product. It does not work the way it was advertised and in fact, really doesn't work at all. If all I want to do is go backwards (pushing the boat toward the stern), it is fabulous. If I want to turn, not so much unless an unusual amount of energy is expended to hold onto the Valet. If I want to pull it forward, it is an unmitigated disaster. The valet will eventually bend (tip) over and with the built up pressure immediately release the stress on the handle by spinning it wildly. Only remedy is to hold on to the handle and with GREAT force, pull the valet up straight and then as fast as possible, lock the handle so nothing moves. It is a terrible disappointment and now will go down in history as the single worst purchase for 700 bucks I have ever made. So, so, so very disappointed. I almost feel like the video and sales pitch was a fraud. The woman who walks up to it and with no effort at all does magical things with the trailer is absolutely a fraudulent representation of how the Valet works.

I have had nothing but problems with my Trailer Valet. I can't get it to stay upright in the hitch and it is useless on my gravel of my trailer overhang. I'm thinking of selling it.

The trailer valet 5x worked once to get by boat parked. The second time I used it the tube sprung a leak which resulted in the boat half parked/half exposed. I contacted customer service to initiate a warranty claim and they said they couldn't do anything for me because they didn't have a tube in stock and no way to keep track that I needed one so I couldn't file a claim. I was given 3 options: 1. Go purchase one from etrailer.com at my expense 2. Check back again next month 3. Return the product

The company is accommodating however the "ease" of use for the device is extremely overstated. Advise to those with bass boats and looking to purchase, The device is NOT the answer to your dreams., It is simply an answer. It is difficult to crank from a bent over posture. The drill method is not as easy as the website shows so you end up hand crank and that ain't easy folks. Especially bent over, cranking while holding the break handle in the up-extended position. My new boat has tandem wheels on the trailer and the Trailer Valet don't like that one bit. So to wrap this up-it works but not even close to the ease of use the company professes, at least it doesn't for me and two different bass boats and trailer styles (2 wheel and tandem)

I used Trailer Valet on a 16 ft. boat. I guess the manufacturer did not anticipate that customers would use their product with boats, because the "Valet" rusted up pretty fast. Then I had a problem and needed to purchase replacement tubes for the tires on the "Valet". For the price charged I expected to receive solid gold tubes, but was astonished to learn that rubber tubes could demand such a price.

The handle is to short, for a tall person. Then needed second person to crank it.For it to work you need a hard surface.
