It'll be 1 year on 12/17/2020 (2 days from today). We have contacted the timeshare freedom group as well the Law Group they are affiliated with (told to remove specific law group that includes the name of the attorney as it includes "personal information") and have been told there has been zero traction/ progress. When we call to speak with someone we continue to get the excuse of COVID 19 and the pandemic. However, Sapphire Resorts sure isn't taking any off days or making any excuses! They are right at work, taking our money still. We continue to make payments to Sapphire Resorts to avoid damaging our credit. At this point we are feeling hopeless.. We're a young, growing family who made a young, silly decision. Taken advantage of.. We have two baby girls under 2 years old and a little boy on the way, due in April. We attempted to contact Timeshare Freedom Group for our promised refund, so that we can take our money somewhere else to get help with this and we were told we still have a year left before we can make this request. I recommend looking elsewhere for assistance. By doing so, you will avoid the run around, the excuses, and the lack of effort and explanation for lack of progress. For $3800 that I spent 1 year ago, it sure would be nice to hear about progress. ANY progress!! The SLIGHTEST bit of progress.. not here.. not with this company..

Cody, First and foremost, we know that the timeshare can be a very stressful thing. We take very personally what these timeshare companies do to people. We are in this business to help people, and we are working hard every day to complete this work for you. That being said, every situation is different. Since 2010 we have completed more than 15,000 timeshare cancellations. Some timeshare cancellations take 2 or 3 months to complete, while others can take 18 months or more. Customer service is very important to us, and we stand by our 24-month money-back guarantee. Your review has exaggerated your situation a bit. There is a significant amount of work being done on your file. On December 16th, the attorneys' office contacted you and explained they are continuing to contact the resort on your behalf to open up meaningful negotiations with them. Some resorts respond right away, whereas others take their sweet time. The attorneys' office has provided you with a detailed legal strategy, and we will continue to work until the job is done. As for COVID-19, this was absolutely affecting the process. It is not an excuse rather a fact. Our records indicate during March thru July, the legal department at your resort was closed and unreachable. Of course, they are still collecting money from people. Payments are collected automatically or by some call center on the other side of the world. With the resorts closed, they have to get money from somewhere. Please know that we stand with our heads held high; we work diligently every day for our clients, and we look forward to the day that your timeshare cancellation is complete. Since 2013, Kay and I have wanted to sell,. Or be released from our contract with travel resorts. Why, you might ask? Well, we sold Our airstream trailer. A campground just didn't fit the bill anymore. At first TRA said they would help us sell. We had the top of the line contract, and surely we could sell it for a tidy sum. But why did I see so many adds offering to sell their contracts at give away prices. Well, we soon learned that we were stuck. So many loopholes that made it virtually impossible. Then we learned we could buy out for a huge sum. No way. We decided to keep paying our maintenance fees until the day we died. Ouch. And then we saw an add. For you guys. We talked to Heidi, and it was love at first sight. We felt we were in better hands than than the good hands people at Allstate. We signed on and, sat back, and let you go to work. Everything worked out just as Heidi. Said it would. We are now out of our contact completely. So relieved that our children will not be saddled with any debt from our poor choice to become members with travel resorts. We did enjoy a few years travelling in our airstream, but we had no idea of how impossible it would be to terminate our membership. Thanks for the peace of mind that your actions have given us.

I reached out to Timeshare Freedom Group over a year now and nothing had happened. I get monthly calls to tell me the same thing, that they're working in it. In 7 months, it will be 2 years since I started working with Timeshare Freedom Group and if nothing has been done, I'm requesting my money back. This has affected my credit score real badly and never have I had it this low. Its a very stressful situation

Hello Carina, Cancelling a timeshare contract is not easy as most of the contracts are written to last forever and the resorts do not typically offer clients a way out on their own. We understand that the timeshare can be a very stressful thing and we take these matters very personally. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service as well as transparency with our clients. Additionally, we successfully cancel hundreds of timeshare contracts each month. In the event that we fail to get a client out we offer and honor our 24-month money back guarantee. I do need to be clear about one thing. Our process on its own does not negatively impact credit. It is only if a client makes a personal decision to stop paying the timeshare before a contract is cancelled that they could have negative reporting to their credit. We have a strict policy to never advise clients to stop paying the timeshare company prematurely. We have never advised you to stop paying, in fact, our records indicate that you were past due on both your maintenance fees and mortgage payments prior to hiring us. Your credit had very likely already been impacted when you came to us. I consulted Timeshare Freedom Group NYC location to release me from UVC AMesorts Vacation scam the week of August 10, 2020. The Timeshare Freedom group representative, Brent Fleming was very professional and informed me of the steps that this company will take in helping me to terminate my involvement with UVC AMresorts. I followed all the requirements and submitted my paper work to the necessary parties. In less than a month, exactly September 9th, I received word that UVC AMresorts agreed to terminate my contract and release me from any further obligations from their company. I can testify with certainty that I am extremely satisfied with the work that Timeshare Freedom group performed on my behalf and released me from the burden of being tied down to a 30 year contract from UVC AMresorts.I am so relieved and 100 percent satisfied!
