Effective, Reinforcing and Practical
The staff was very helpful answering my questions and helping me get set up. I paced myself and found the material interesting and reinforcing while I was thinking about how my driving would improve. It is a very practical course about being a more effective, responsible, defensive driver. It took several days to finish. Thank you for a well designed course with reinforcing examples.

I was in a hurry and did not come to a complete stop at a stop sign. I was even later after doing that because I was along side the road waiting for my ticket.Ticketschool got me out of the ticket, no fine, and taught me a few things.

Meaningful and informative course
Keeping "points" off one's DL is a good reason to take DRIVER'S IMPROVEMENT training with TicketSchool.com. The price is amazing too. I learned a lot of useful information from the course. After driving for nearly 50 years, I learned accident avoidance strategies I had never thought about before and now I use them every day. Tests and the end of each section are also way better than an end of course exam. Do it! You'll love it!

Pretty interesting, fairly ineffective
The course was pretty interesting, but the cure for everything was to the claim we're acting like a child. Do you rush the intersection, you're a child, do you drive too fast, you're a child, do you blame others, you're a child. It's not an instructive approach: it hardly teaches, and it hardly motivates motivate. Better, perhaps, the course could acknowledge that there are reasons to rush, or to blame, then to present that we can only affect our part of the interaction.

Thank you Robert for taking the time to submit your review and for your thoughts. We believe that the majority of people know the rules of the road and how to drive safely, but unfortunately choose not to for a variety of reasons. Our course attempts to dig into the life situations and attitude states that typically cause people to take risks on the road (speeding, unlawful turns, distracted driving, road rage, etc.). Your are correct that the child attitude state is one of the three attitude states described in the course. While there may seem to be valid reasons to drive unsafely or violate road rules, our course is designed to give people the perspective to be more aware of their mind set / attitude before getting behind the wheel so that they can make smarter and safer decisions to hopefully avoid tickets or crashes. Thanks again for choosing Ticketschool.com for your Michigan basic driver improvement course and for taking the time to send us your review.
