We were fooled by the quality in-store. When we purchased our 3x2 dresser, there were chips, dents, blotchy staining on EVERY SINGLE DRESSER. Customer service took two days just to respond to one email and took a week to receive the return label. I also demanded to return the felt top, of which we did not even open from the package, and it took them another two days to give the label after multiple follow-ups. It's not been two weeks with the felt top confirmed to have been returned by FedEx and NOTHING. Absolute garbage company.

Shipping Delays and Backordered Products Taking 2 Months!
Ordered a 6k couch on September 1st and was told that it would be shipped within 3-4 weeks. It is now October 5th and it still has not shipped. I reached out to customer service on week 4 and they told me the reason it is delayed is because a piece was back ordered... My question is, what have they been doing for the past month to where they still can't get that piece in time to send it within the window they told me it was going to ship... I reached out 3 days after they said they got the piece in stock and will be shipping it soon and yet nothing has shipped. I waited another 3 days to check in and they said the same exact thing that they said prior. My last email was sharing my frustration with the customer service team on Friday of last week and STILL, no reply... I've been sitting in an empty apartment now for a month an a half waiting for this couch and now I will have to wait another 10-14 days from the shipping date to actually receive my couch.. It's looking like it'll take around 2 months for the couch to get here which is double the allotted timeframe that was promised on their website.

Missing hardware and they won’t replace…
Missing hardware and they won’t replace it, I had to pay more for replacement even though it wasn’t in the box.

Buyer beware before spending thousands…
Buyer beware before spending thousands with Thuma.
I purchased Thuma stacking drawers expecting premium quality and service. Instead, the pieces arrived in different wood colors, and even the replacements Thuma sent still don’t match.
I now have 16 Thuma boxes piled up in my dining room because their solution has been to keep shipping replacements rather than actually solving the problem.
There is no customer service phone number to call, no one I can speak with directly, and no meaningful effort to take ownership of this situation.
At this price point, I should not have to repeatedly unpack furniture hoping the next shipment happens to match.
Premium price. Poor quality control. Frustrating customer service. Still no resolution.
Thuma, I don’t want another random replacement shipment. I want someone to take ownership of this problem, provide a complete matching set, and arrange removal of everything that was sent incorrectly.
Until this is resolved, I cannot recommend Thuma

Beautiful, exceptionally well-made bed — but Thuma needs to improve fulfillment communication
I ordered the King Classic Bed and two nightstands from Thuma on July 29. I also ordered my new King mattress from WinkBed that same day because I was coordinating the two purchases.
The difference in fulfillment was striking. My WinkBed mattress was delivered on August 5. Thuma advertised the bed as shipping in 1–3 business days, but the bed did not actually ship until August 12. That meant my brand-new mattress had to sit on the floor for nearly a week while I waited for the bed frame.
During that time, I contacted Thuma several times trying to obtain a specific fulfillment status or expected ship date. The responses were vague, and I was never proactively notified that the advertised shipping timeframe would not be met. I understand that delays happen, but when they do, I expect a company to communicate that directly rather than require the customer to repeatedly ask for information.
Once the Thuma furniture arrived, however, my opinion of the product itself was very different.
The nightstands are beautiful, and the bed is extremely well made. The wood has a substantial, furniture-quality feel, the finish is attractive and consistent, the rounded corners are beautifully executed, and the joinery fits together very precisely. The slat system is sturdy and well designed, and the upholstered headboard is neatly tailored and feels like an integral part of the bed rather than an afterthought.
Assembly went very smoothly. At first we thought four short legs and the center support leg were missing, but those pieces arrived the following day packaged with the slats. Once everything was here, the bed came together perfectly.
The finished bed feels exceptionally solid, looks beautiful, and gives me the impression that considerable thought went into both the engineering and the craftsmanship. After seeing it assembled, I believe it is a very good value for the quality. Thuma clearly takes pride in the furniture it produces.
My criticism is not of the furniture. It is of Thuma’s fulfillment and communication process. If a company advertises that an item ships in 1–3 business days and cannot meet that timeframe, customers should receive a proactive notice explaining the delay and providing an updated expectation.
Product quality: 5/5
Design and construction: 5/5
Value: 5/5
Fulfillment/communication: 2/5
Overall: 4/5
I would buy Thuma furniture again because I am genuinely impressed with the finished product. But I would go into another purchase knowing that the quality of Thuma’s furniture is currently much stronger than the quality of its fulfillment communication.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, it is non-existent!! They take up to 2 weeks to respond, if they respond at all. There is no customer service number to call. With this price for a bed, they can afford to pay people to answer the phone. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. They shipped the wrong parts, and I cannot get a response on a resolution. Still cannot put the over priced bed together.

Nearly $3,000 bed never delivered, dismissive customer service, wasted two days off work
I ordered the Essential Bed + Upholstered Headboard on June 24, 2026 for $2,943.14. On August 4, I got tracking info showing the bed was en route with an estimated delivery of August 10.
On Thursday, August 6, a delivery driver called me out of nowhere asking me to come help him unload the bed because he was alone and had no equipment — he'd parked around the corner. I was at work and couldn't come. He never said whether he'd retry delivery or send it back, and the tracking page never updated to reflect any of this.
I emailed Thuma on August 7 asking what was going on. Their support agent's response didn't just fail to answer the question — it flatly told me the package "may be from a different company" and reassured me the Thuma delivery was still on track for August 10. That turned out to be wrong.
Trusting that answer, I asked my employer for the day off on Monday, August 10, so I'd be home for the "confirmed" delivery. That morning, tracking still hadn't moved. When I called SEKO (Thuma's delivery contractor) directly, their local subcontractor admitted the Thursday call was in fact their own driver failing to deliver — and that the bed wouldn't arrive until August 11, a full day past what Thuma had told me in writing.
I emailed Thuma immediately explaining I'd already burned a vacation day on their incorrect information, couldn't take another day off, and would be traveling for a week starting Wednesday. I asked if the original date could be honored. No response all day. By evening, I asked for the order to be canceled, delivery refused, and a full refund issued.
Separately: this was a $2,943.14 purchase shipped with no signature required, per the driver — which on its own is a bizarre way to handle a bed of that price.
To sum up: a missed delivery caused by their own driver's lack of equipment/staffing, a support reply that got basic facts wrong, silence for a full business day on a time-sensitive question, and two lost workdays for me. I'd think hard before ordering anything from Thuma. Based on their Trustpilot reviews, my experience was not unique and I wouldn't be surprised if this company went bankrupt soon. You cannot run an e-commerce brand with incompetent delivery service.

Very expensive bed that does not ship…
Very expensive bed that does not ship when they promise. We ordered a bed and they shipped in two separate shipments. Now my son is in his new apartment with no bed frame because only half arrived. Save your money! There are much more reliable options.
