I bought this bag and yes you do get the impression that they are a legitimate US operation, when they really aren't, but that's not to say the product I received was bad. After a few months of usage, the hardware broke and since they responded to their reviews, I decided to leave a review in the hopes of bringing this to their attention. Any mildly critical review left on their site is not made public and the Judge Me thing is a scam as well. So all in all beware of doing business with these guys.

I purchased ‘The Standard’ backpack recently and had a good experience. Before I ordered, I saw some of the bad reviews here and was understandably concerned. I contacted the company and they said something about having staff and supplier issues in the last few months that are now resolved. I still wasn’t sure whether to order, but ended up biting the bullet as the customer service person was very helpful and responsive and I couldn’t find a similar bag anywhere else. I’m so glad I did! The bag is lovely, it’s quality leather and some of my colleagues have been asking where I got it. Whatever issues this company may have had before, I haven’t had any problems.

I love my leather bag, "The Daily." It is a beautiful piece that has gotten alot of compliments. Unfortunately, I had an issue with buckle straps not holding properly. I emailed customer service was responsive with prompt emails. They understandably asked for photos to identify the issue, and then mailed me two new buckles at no cost to me. I will happily continue to use their products. Great customer service!

Finally, a leather bag large enough to use for a weekend away. Leather quality is outstanding as well as attention to details. This is a high quality product that is going to last a long time. The entire purchasing experience was great. From finding the product thru delivery this has been a very good experience. I have now purchased 2 bags from the Real Leather Co. and couldn’t be happier.

We received a bag from them and were immediately concerned about the quality and durability. After considering for two days, we reached out to the company to initiate the return process which they clearly note on their website must be completed in 14 days of purchase. We get an automated reply saying someone will let us know the process within 3 days. It has now been 10, so we are past the return deadline. We sent follow up inquiries and got nothing. Buyer beware - if there are any concerns or problems, you are on your own.

As others have mentioned below, I wish I would have seen these reviews. The bag shipped to me with the wrong color leather. The strap is brown and the bag is a reddish walnut. I immediately asked to exchange or refund the purchase. It's been two weeks of emailing with their team giving me the run around, there's no address to ship returns to. Filed a report with my credit card company today to get a refund. This place is a scam, avoid at all costs.

Order 2 bags a sling bag & backpack… the backpack is not genuine leather at all it looks like some cheap plastic bag with a leather stamp hanging from it. I sent 2 emails to the company waiting’s for instructions to return the bag with no success.

I wish I would've read these reviews because I would have never bought from them. Mine came from India and I also was under the impression it was an American company....NOT. So much about this company is underhanded, all I wanted was an exchange and they have completely ghosted me with the 6 emails I have sent. I am going to report them to the BBB, maybe some of us will get an answer with our problems.
