The spray contains lavender oil, which is not disclosed on the website. The strong smell made it unusable for me. While customer service remained polite throughout, they expected me to absorb the cost and inconvenience of return shipping of my *opened product* or receive only a partial (<50%) refund. Essentially, I was being penalized for their lack of disclosure. Will not be taking chances with this company again. ***UPDATE: They did process a full refund, but their reply is a little baffling. In addition to sending a photo of the label, I also opened the bottle and reported the strong lavender smell. I believe I received a very old or misformulated product? They need to purge their old stock rather than sell it. My diffusers are the newer label and have been fine.

Hello Mel, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry for the confusion and frustration this caused. We want to clearly reassure you that there is no lavender oil in our formulation. Our calming spray is made with dog-specific pheromones only and does not contain lavender. What happened here was a labeling issue, and we completely understand how seeing that would be concerning. Please rest assured that the product inside the bottle is our dog-specific calming spray, formulated with canine pheromones and completely safe for use with dogs. We sincerely apologize for the misprint and for any worry it created. Our team has already addressed this internally to ensure labels accurately reflect the correct information moving forward. We’re also sorry that the return process felt frustrating. That’s never the experience we want for our customers. Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If you’re open to it, we would welcome the opportunity to review your case again and work toward a resolution. Thank you again for your honest feedback. Best Regards, John of TheraPetMD
