Don't waste your time or money with The Pros
I originally heard about the pros while attending a bridal fair and I knew from the beginning that I wanted to spend a good chunk of my wedding budget on photos because who doesn't want to be able to share their wedding photos for the rest of their lives right? Well, booking with the pros was a huge mistake and was a HUGE headache for months prior and following our wedding day. From start to finish our experience with the pros was, for lack of better terms, completely dissatisfying. We would have been so much better off taking our deposit fee as a loss and booking our photography package with a completely different vendor. Our experience started off with a representative calling and haggling me ALL DAY LONG everyday from the time we gave them our information at the bridal fair until we decided if we wanted to book with them. It took a lot of time and thought because we knew this was one of the most expensive purchases we had to make for the wedding. We finally came to the conclusion that even though the rep that would not stop calling was super annoying, the company was said to be the best, we were going to give it a try. So when I called back to put the deposit down and go along with the process, they told me that the rep that had been calling me non stop was no longer with the company. I instantly thought well duh, no wonder why. So then I was assigned another rep, while all of this was happening, the company failed to mention that we needed to choose the photographer that we would like to book from their website portfolio. So we went months and months of no communication at all, until we got an email stating that as it stood at that moment, we didn't have a photographer. Well when I called to talk with the rep to let her know that no one ever mentioned that we needed to choose a photographer, she told us to look on line on the website and there would be portfolios that we could look at and choose from there. When we went online to take a look, the page stated that there were no available photographers for our date. I called our rep back and asked her if we could get our deposit fee back because there were apparently no available photographers for our day. She told me no, that the deposit is strictly non refundable but that she would "find" someone to assign to us. So at that point we felt very stuck in the situation. The photographer that got assigned to us did not have a portfolio for us to look at (if she did, it was no where to be found on the website) so we were going into this blind pretty much. Shortly after that, we got another email stating that the new rep we were working with was also no longer with the company and we had someone new assigned to us. Our day was getting closer and closer and we still hadn't heard anything regarding our photographer or anything (but they sure did make sure to get in contact with us before our payment was due to remind us). So a couple of months before our day I called to get some information on the photographer who was assigned to us and of course the rep who was assigned to me was not available so I spoke with someone different regarding what we were looking for as far as our wedding vision and I was told that we would hear from the photographer a few weeks before the event. We did end up getting a call from her and she seemed okay when I spoke with her on the phone but nothing could have prepared me for how she was when we met her on our day. On our wedding day, it was an extra $100+ per hour to have the photographer with me while myself and my bridesmaids had our hair and make up done and I was NOT happy with the service thus for so I chose not to pay for the extra time and we just took out own pictures. When our photographer, Maddie, got to the hotel she was very hyper and kind of could not stand still and after taking some photos, she asked me if I wanted her to head to the venue to take some photos there. So she left and I headed there shortly after. When I got to my venue, she was there kind of roaming around and eventually ended up in the area that I was getting my dress on in. We had an amazing videographer take our video for the day and obviously lots of other people working the wedding as well. The photographer was SO rude to our videographer it almost made me want to fire her on the spot. She asked in front of ALL our guests(aloud but "to herself") in the middle of me walking down the isle if we got our videographer from Craigslist and would roll her eyes anytime he was getting a shot of something. She carried that attitude and unprofessionalism with her all night long. after the ceremony while we were taking pictures outside, she was so pushy and panicky about getting the photos that she started to make me flustered and anxious and I had to walk away from her and tell her we could finish the photos inside. When the reception started, She was on the dance floor dancing with my guests more than she was taking pictures and when she was taking pictures, they were ALWAYS off centered, way to bright and there was absolutely zero attention to little details (i.e. spreading out the train on my dress and spreading out my cathedral vail). She gave my mom attitude when she was asked to take photos of the candy buffet because she stated she had already done it, but when she took photos of it to begin with, the table was not complete. So my mom was just trying it have photos of the candy table complete and she made sure to give my mom a hard time. She told my husband numerous times that she wanted to get pictures of him and some of his family members so he would step away to grab them and she would be no where to be found when they were ready. A big chunk of the photos she took of my guest are so bright and seem like they are beyond the point of help from editing. She was too busy dancing inside with my guests to stay outside and take pictures of our send-off. When I tried to bring our concerns to the pros, I had to play phone tag with someone for months and then guess what happened? HE WAS NO LONGER WITH THE COMPANY! We once again began dealing with someone new for our concerns and played phone tag with that rep for months and then out of nowhere we got an email stating that the rep who was helping us was assigned to a new project so we would now be dealing with the VP of the company. When I spoke with him, I told him EVERYTHING and all that he told me was that the photos are in their raw state and that if we gave them a chance and let them edit them and put them in the album that we wouldn't be disappointed and offered me an upgraded album for the inconvenience of our photographer. I am sorry but I can't even pick out a handful of photos I actually like at all, let alone a whole "upgraded album". I told him the upgraded album didn't seem like enough because we were discouraged enough to not even be interested in the album anymore. His next suggestion was that he could give us a refund of a little under $300, because that was the amount of the upgraded album. I settled with that. It has now been over a month since we decided on the refund and we still have received nothing. At first the check went to the wrong address, so I called and was told that it would be reissued. Never received it. Then I got another email stating that the VP just found out that the accountant has been on vacation and that I wouldn't get the refund check for another week when he gets back. It has now been over a month and my faith in this company is 100% gone. All the VP can say is "please accept my apology" but that doesn't help the situation when from the very beginning our experience has been so disappointing and unprofessional. I had such high hopes for this experience and I can tell you now, about a year after giving my deposit fee and about 5 months after my wedding, that booking with this company was the biggest mistake we made. Do yourself a favor and consider a more professional photography company so you don't spend thousands on an experience that wasn't even worth a dollar.

Hi Keyra. I'm sorry to hear of your experience and equally frustrated we couldn't get you back on track with us. We are always more inclined to encourage our customers to review the available profiles. We think that's the best way to match you with the photographer. Frankly, I thought we had your concerns resolved with a recommendation to simply let our service continue by enhancing your images and creating an album and then that fell out of favor. To make matters worse, I never checked with you about your mailing address and the first check was lost in the mail. Since our accountant was on vacation the week we needed to reissue your check, it delayed the process further. I'm sorry I couldn't make this right for you. The Pros Weddings
