I used The Pros for all three services for my wedding, and had a wonderful experience! My photographer, Frank, took beautiful, editorial photos and wrangled my bridal party easily on a super tight timeline (and even calmly talked me out of a pretty spectacular bridezilla moment when my earrings went missing). Greg, my videographer, was the perfect observer- taking in all of the moments I was missing and documenting them beautifully on my video. And my DJ stuck to my very particular playlist and filled in the gaps seamlessly.

The Pros Videography was perfect!
I had Paulo as my videographer this year and he was great! He was so kind and easy to talk to! He made sure that every detail of my big day was captured on film! I am so thankful that I have the whole day captured on film, it goes by so fast and it is so great to have to look back on!

STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY
I have gone back and forth on if I even wanted to waste my time writing a review. I am not one to write bad reviews as I work in the wedding industry and know somethings just can go wrong. Well after now having to edit my own video and album that was put together for me, it has taken me over the edge on how absolutely terrible this company has been to work with. I highly recommend any bride/groom looking for photographer or videographer to higher someone independent, they may be a little more expensive but they will give you the personal service you deserve. Pro's, provided me with terrible service from start to finish. It always took me a handful of call or emails to get in touch with my representative to discuss details of my wedding. So many things went wrong... they set me up with a 2nd photographer that had no business being at my wedding taking pictures. I could not use one photo as it looked like a 6 year old went around snapping photos, not putting any care or time into it. He made my guests feel uncomfortable by going up and flashing in their face, he was going to the bar drinking on the job and at the end of the night proceeded to bug my husband and I about payment after I told him prior to let me know how to pay him because we would not be doing that at the wedding. See some example photo's below.... these were what I had to work with. Had no pictures of me and my father dancing or groom and mom as well as so many other photo's were missed. When we went outside to get sunset photo's he spent more time confused on how to position us that we just gave up because we were wasting time from dancing and spending time with family. After then following up with the company on my disservice of the service and quality of photo's i received. All I got was an Im sorry and we will upgrade your album to your package. Well first off... I couldn't even pick enough photo's I liked to do the album I had, why would upgrading my album to get more photo's satisfy me. Then last and most frustrating part of all this. I HAD TO EDIT MY OWN VIDEO AND ALBUM. Never have I heard of this... you go and book an independent photographer/videographer and they put there time and special touches in making you and amazing video and album. I had to edit what looked like it was computer generated with multiple duplicates of photo's and clusters of pictures on one page.
JUST STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY! Not worth the money, Have no idea how they are still in business. The only good thing I can say about them is my main photographer was amazing (I got lucky), she however was 7 months pregnant and i just could not ask her to stay all day, which is why I asked for a second to cover the 2nd half of my wedding. I wish I would have just paid her extra on the side so that I would have gotten quality pictures. I even received eye rolls from other vendors when I told them who was doing my photos'/ videography. They offer no personalized service. You are just a number to them... once they get your money say good bye to getting what you paid for.
Below are example of the quality of photo's I received. Yes, I am fully aware when you get pictures done you are guaranteed to have bad ones, thats a given. But they were all bad. He literally went around just snapping his camera not even looking or pausing to capture the moment. No effort or care was put into his work. So many moments I asked him to capture, like my mom and her dad, not one of them did he get with them looking at the camera. I could go on and on about this, it was just terrible. I will never get these photo's/moments back so I just have to be thankful for the pictures I did get for my ceremony and early photos with my first photographer.

Hi Christina. I'm glad we had a chance to sort through your concerns. Your second shooter did not hit the mark. We removed him from our network. I'm glad we were able to clarify your role as well as the role of all of our customers regarding the editing or your photos and video. We are only asking you for your suggestions. Frankly, some of our customers offer lots of editing suggestions and some very little. Both are perfectly fine. It's meant to be a good thing. We want to involve our customers as much as possible to provide the service that perfect for them. I'm thrill to hear your primary photographer who provided the lion's share of your beautiful photographer was to your liking.

Lazy and unprofessional.
I dealt with a contractor based in Kalamazoo, MI.
I'm so heartbroken with how my video turned out. I put so much trust in my videographer and I was taken advantage of. To begin, I only spoke with him (David) once (2 days before the wedding). He made me feel stupid for asking certain questions and he assured me he's "a professional and has done hundreds of weddings." When I received my raw video to be edited. The main parts were ruined. The ceremony: where my priest stood and where the videographer stood it blocked half of my body during both vows and ring exchange. The videographer never moved to adapt/adjust. There was even a balcony he could've went to (I had a full catholic mass, so he had time). My ring bearer was little and cute but again, he wasn't even seen in the video. Next, the reception. Because I felt stupid asking questions I didn't think I had to tell David to video the front view. There was no sheet of activities given to me to fill out like the photographer and DJ gave to me. So my choreographed dance with my father is from the direct side. During the bridesmaids dance I was barley seen and there was never a point where all of the group was in the video. Again, a side angle. Who goes to a show and pays $$$ for a side view! He had plenty of time to move to the front; everyone was seated and he wouldn't have blocked anyone. And on top of that there was also a balcony at the reception. I did not buy the most expensive option but I spent good money for good quality and that is not what I received. My video showed laziness and no cares to what the video stands for. So, in 30 years from now I'm trying to reminisce or when my father passes away and I want to watch this wonderful moment with him, I will be viewing poor quality and a very disappointing video. I had high hopes for this company and I hope this helps future brides...

Hi Samantha. I'm glad we had an opportunity to work through your concerns. After looking at the footage it does appear the officiant positioned himself between the two of you and the videographer unexpectedly. While he doesn't have a full length shot, he is able to capture each of you from the waist up. The balance of the video contains some beautiful raw footage that will allow our studio to create a fantastic short form. I look forward to the opportunity to conclude your video service with an edited piece. Hugh Riley, Vice President

Know who you are hiring!
I thought I knew who I was hiring when I chose the Pros to do our wedding and they lied to me. The photographer was irritable at my wedding forgot to take important pictures and left out family members from our photos! When she came to my house, she was in my room for almost an hour doing who knows what! My mother in law asked to take a picture and she told her she needed to wait. Basically I was left to do all the work because she couldn't handle my bridal party. As a photographer, she didn't know how to pose people or what different poses to get of anyone so my sister had to step in to give her suggestions! To top of the night she as waiting around for a tip! When I called to complain they said it was my fault! Please do not use these people!!!

Hi Olivia. I'm glad we had an opportunity to discuss your concerns and upgrade your album to a Masterpiece. With a little bit of post production editing and enhancing the album looks fantastic! I apologize for the confusion regarding some of the family shots. We should have done a better job of gathering and organizing the family members. Please accept my apology. Hugh Riley, Vice President

Terrible
I am sorry for having to post a negative review, I just feel that it's important to let My feelings be known.
I did not like any of the photos our photographer took. He had taken 11 shots of me ironing my sons shirt, too many shots of my shoes on the bed, ridiculous amount of photos of non-important things.
Photos of my husband and myself were not set up nicely at all. No suggestions were made for photos. Like flaring out my train, posing at t he alter with my matron of honor and the best man.
I would never recommend The Pros to anyone. It was very expensive and definitely not worth the money. When ordering photographs the process was frustrating. When I had asked, for example, that all the photos containing bride and groom alone to have our faces cleared of any marks, it was done on one or two photos.
I won't even put my wedding album together or let anyone see it because it's horrible.
Thank you for ruining my memories of my special day, you did an awesome job with that.

I know my review took quite a long time for me to get to but

Amazing DJ
We used the Pros to contract out DJ for our wedding. We had Dwayne as our DJ and he was amazing. He is personable, easy going and gave us everything we asked for when it came to the music and atmosphere that we were looking for. We would highly recommend him.

Extremely let down with service and photographs
About a year before our wedding we searched through the website and found a photographer that we thought fit our style. The price seemed reasonable and the photos looked great. We booked her and paid in full before the wedding. Shockingly, a different photographer calls us to get the address of our venue a week before our wedding. Concerned about the change in photographer, we immediately wrote The Pros. They promptly responded that the photographer that we booked could no longer work our wedding do to medical issues (of which we understood), however they assigned us someone else (that we did not have a choice in). The Pros stated that they had attempted to contact us a few weeks prior, but we could find absolutely no record of this. With little to no options the week before our wedding, we kept the new guy.
He disappointed us completely. He took very few pictures of my wife getting ready and only a handful of the bridesmaids before the wedding. He didn't seem prepared to take some the "key" shots throughout the wedding either. Once our photo discs finally arrived (the first set were lost in the mail), most of them were out of of focus or poorly timed. The focus was often not on the subject, but on someone or something else behind them (i.e.,on the officiant, not us). Key moments in our dance and our exit were missed as well. We only ended up with two shots that has only the two of us in them. Those pictures of the two of you that you have framed around the house - we don't have those.
Finally, after we were done looking through the photos, we left negative, yet fair feedback on our Wedding Space on the website. Within a day my wife received a text message to her phone from the photographer "thanking" us for trashing his work with the company for which he works. We found this extremely unprofessional.
Booking our photographer through The Pros was our one wedding regret.
Response from The Pros WeddingsMar 20, 2018
Hi Jamison. I'm sorry to hear of your disappointing experience. Your scheduled photographer became pregnant and on doctor's orders was advised not to continue shooting. Frankly it caught us all by surprise. We reached out multiple times in early September with emails and texts. Your voicemail was not set up. I'm sorry it came to this. I apologize for our photographers texting after the review. He takes a lot of pride in his craft and reputation and had trouble separating the emotion from his business sense. Please accept my apology.
