Just received my Lampster! It's been a long wait but is ubercool! It is now sitting on my desk! :)

Most unreliable company to kickstart or work with. Project succesfully funded in December 2015. We are more than 3 years after!! Never any reliable update or so. Only lies a lot of dissapointments. Biggest scam on Kickstarter. Beware of The Lampster.

I backed the project over 4 years ago. The creator failed to communicate, regarding the fact that they promise each time to do it properly. Although they just provide misinformation each time. Moreover they also keep selling the product on different platforms instead of sending to original backers from Kickstarter. And they actually asked backers to pay more if they want to get "faster shipping". Would not suggest to buy anything from them! And please - do not tell me "contact us on FB", I paid you for product almost 5 years ago and you again and again fail to deliver it - so you need to contact all backers one by one and not ask them to run after you! I even do not want to mention your threats to people here or those who leave bad review on facebook - that you would never send them anything if they do not change it. You are scam and karma would pay back!

There hasn't been a single thing about this project that has been handled appropriately - rare communication is vague or dishonest, orders are not processed in order of purchase, extra charges are requested to get items sooner (after literally YEARS of waiting already). This is the project that finally broke me from ever supporting Kickstarter projects again, and I'm being completely serious. The funny thing is that I've even supported other projects that just simply went under and kept everybody's money, and they still weren't as bad of an experience at this one. ***Despite the completely dishonest reply below, I did not receive my Lampster, much less a few months ago.

Do not engage with this company. Go to their Kickstarter page and see the amount of anger, lies and misleading information told to backers and clients. They’ve been reporting bad reviews here and on KS so they would look good.

Total waste of time. Have now waited for close to 3 years, no communication from Lampster. No product no ETA. Also I think modern technology such as smart lighting might make the product outdated, although who knows as never delivered

Backed in 2015.....was promised multiple times over the years that it would be shipped to New Zealand but nothing. I don’t know if it’s possible to raise a class action lawsuit against the creators or Kickstarter but it appears this was a blatant scam and a limited number of units were sent to various locations to string everyone else along in the hope that they would eventually get what they paid for. Regardless I hope that the police get involved to prosecute their behaviour

Couldn't be more disappointed. Project owners talk down to customers and play mind games to deflect the poor manner in which the project was handled. In addition, they are serving paying customers before delivering to their supporters. Lesson learned about Kickstarter as a whole and it is sad to be a part of a failing campaign, although it was funded. People will try to defend and deflect, but in the end the founders were backed by the generosity of us backers and they have completely lost sight of our role in the process and they clearly do not care. They have since sponsored other projects trying to make more money for themselves without meeting any obligation on this project. Again, i took the risk and I do recognize that, but they promised product to start going out in mid 2016 and we are approaching 3 years after that, with no product in sight for so many people. Will I ever get one? Honestly i doubt I will so I'm out almost $200. In all honestly I did not donate $200 to help someone become rich or to be cute, I really wanted the product and I'm super disappointed.
