LampsterReviews of thelampster.com

Never have I had a table lamp with such a presence, style and personality. Also very nice finish all around, especially the tractor lamp head made in actual metal and glass. Awesome product!

It’s an eye turning and a good conversation piece - Love it!

We backed the Kickstarter years ago and waited for the Lampster that never came, as did many people. I finally got in contact with the company and decided to pay the extra shipping (which really wasn't that much). They were prompt to process our order and ship my Lampster, it arrived shortly after. WOW! what an amazing looking and fun lamp, excellent quality, works great and looks amazing in our office. We would highly recommend this lamp to anyone looking for something fun and different...or just loves robots and lamps :)

After I got my Red Artsy, I wanted a second one. So, yesterday, the Gold Artsy arrived :-) Both are extremely nice and unique. I am happy with the quality of the lamps and the service provided. Thumbs up!

Back in 2015 I backed the lamp. I got in touch with the Lampster team for once in a while and always got friendly replies on my requests, but without receiving my lamp for years. Two weeks ago I tried it for the last time and briefly received a new coupon for the shop, placed my order once more and *suprise* received my black Army Lampster today after two weeks! Pros: - I have it! - It looks quite cool - It works with the App - Friendly and swift replies on inquiries ever since Cons: - Transparency and communication through the process, broken promises etc. - Overall delivery time - App and handling is a bit rickety At least I believe that they really try to deliver what they promised.

A Clear Scam They have scammed users from kickstarter and Indiegogo DO NOT Buy from these scammers

I backed this product on kick starter in 2014. I went years without hearing anything after they said they needed to look into a new manufacturing process due to the overwhelming number of orders. In 2019 I finally received word from them that they were going to begin shipping though this was a blanket email and provided no information about my order. I reacbed out to them and did not hear back except with another blanket email providing the same information that I just sent their email list. It is now July 2020 and I decided I would reach out to them one last time inquiring about my specific order and shipping to Canada. I received a response which stated “ At the moment, the only option available to ship your lamps is via individual shipping (cost: USD 40/lamp). ”. This response contained no reference to shipping to Canada or my specific name or order number and given the six year ordeal I’m starting to feel like sending them any money would be as useful as throwing it in the trash. I have no trust that they will deliver the product

I ordered 4 years and 1 month ago, like others I am still waiting for either a response from the company or the product to be delivered. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this situation
