We finally caved after years of waiting and paid the $40USD to have the lampster shipped to us. We received it quickly once we paid. This is the nature of kickstarters; they don't always work out as planned. We're happy with the lamp; he's got sass and the lighting features are cool. He came really well packaged too. I'll say, not great for filling a room with light, but certainly fills the room with personality. All in all, happy with the lamp. Would've been happier with better communication from the lampster team - they went completely dark and I had to chase them to organize shipping myself to get my hands on the lamp - and I would've been happier to get it sooner, and not have to pay the extra dough to get it shipped, but if you want guarantees, don't do a kickstarter. Wait until the project is funded and pay full price like some of the other folks here, and you'll receive it in a reasonable time.

A complete scam. App that makes the lamp more than just a rip off lamp, only works (apparently) with samsung. Would have been nice if they told me this before taking hundred of pounds from me. App doesn't worth with my OnePlus or iPad. Lampeter, why don't you state it only works wit Samsung? Because you know you wouldn't be able to steal from people if you did?

Too bad I can't give zero stars ( or negative stars), this is a company that would deserve them. They scammed a lot of people in Kickstarter and what was then 200 euro lamp with free shipping now needs 50 euros or something like that for individual shipping. After about six years I'm still waiting for mine. I would avoid doing business with this company.

Absolutely shady company. I ordered more than 4 years ago and still nothing. The last time I heard anything was: "At the moment, the only option available to ship your lamp is via individual shipping (cost: USD 40).". Yet, they are still selling them and shipping them to people that have recently purchased lamps (apparently). I even said fine that I would pay the extra money and never heard anything back. What a joke. There should be a lawsuit against them.

Don't waste your money! This company will not send you the lamp. I've been waiting for the last 4 years, every time I send them a message they have a dumb excuse. Now that I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, they miracously have it ready for me. What a joke!

Last Friday my lampster finally arrived. I ordered it through Indiegogo in 2017. A long wait but through the years it allways looked that it was the intention of eventually fulfilling orders. Individual shipping did the trick. And is was worth the wait. A nicely boxed beautiful product. Produced environmentally aware. Cool industrial retro desing with modern features. Controlled by a app that matches the product in coolness. Warm and coll white can be mixed or all colors of the rainbow. And it can even respond to music in sort of a disco mode. If you have not ordered a lampster yet, you'll get it quite quick nowadays. If you have contact through messenger and you'll be answered.

I backed the Lampster, and though it took a while to get, I am so happy with it. It is in my home office, where like many other I have been stuck for months, and I often look up and see it and it makes me smile. It produces a remarkable amount of light and the control of warmth, brightness and color is very fine. I ordered a second for my father and he loves his. You won’t be disappointed!
