After 5 years I finally got my custom lamp. I thought they had forgotten me but they did a really good job. The design is exactly as I had sent it to them, the lamp is just amazing, I had to look at the YouTube videos to set the app but everything works just fine. Worth the wait. Thank you guys!

I too ordered from Kickstarter over 4 years ago and have received nothing. Not even an email, last correspondence was over 2 years ago with more lies about shipping and/or plugs etc. Just a total scam, amazed that they are still taking new orders.

The Lampster looks impressive. I knew about the size from specs but it "feels" bigger and needs a good spot to have an effect. The body is very light, which is good for shipping. I think I will eventually pour sand into the body as suggested. But it does not fall over without it. The packing is very well done. The lamp is safe. I liked the extra bag the lamp is delivered in. Accessoires included are a nice touch. I received shoes, a leather belt with 2 satchels, a booklet, a cleaning cloth and a spare glass. The base colour is very smooth and same thickness covering the whole lamp. The artsy splatter pattern gives it a unique feeling. Power cord is solid and long enough. Mine came with Schuko plug. I would have preferred a flat euro plug, but in combination with the clothed "retro" cord it works. The app is easy to use but a little overdesigned for my taste (too pretty, I know, wierd). I don't like losing screen space just to make it prettier, I have to scroll for some functions which would not be necessary. The light can be set VERY bright, so the lamp could be used as one (office, reading, etc.) not only for decoration. All in all very nice product. So what's missing for me to make it perfect? Smart home integration.

It took a few years to get mine, and it wasn't even the colour I originally asked for. But I got it, and it is as good as I could have expected. Stands proudly on my desk.

Finally it arrived! It was a long wait because it was a custom lamp. But it was worth it. Because the work is exquisite! Definitely worth the wait! Well done guys!

It has been 5 years since backing their project on Kickstarter. After years of waiting, they refuse to fulfill the order, thousands of backers complaining on Reddit, FB, KS, google it before dealing with this company. My previous reviews got deleted without explain. Most of the projects use KS as PR, it should be marketing with all benefits to the brand/company, even Chinese manufactures know it, but these two are so shortsighted waste probably the only reputation/opportunity they could get in their whole life.

It’s been a long and hectic ride, but finally got my Lampster a few weeks ago. Though it took the long way home, now that it’s there I’m loving it. It’s got a real attitude and that’s the first lamp I own that I actually enjoy just looking at it when it’s off. I was afraid about the app but it works fine to set the colors or even a wake up atmosphere. I took one star off for the customer service that can be slow to respond, but there are real persons at the other end. Once you’ve managed to make contact you get what you want, though at their own pace.
