I found the site to be helpful when seeking mid-level to executive opportunities with specific salary requirements.

I joined Ladders around January 5. So far I received less positions than from Indeed or Dice, no "inside" positions. Why pay for this ? Indeed, Dice, Monster, etc. are free. I need a proof that Ladders can give me at least 3-4 positions for these 3 trial month that I cannot get with free sites- otherwise I will stop my participation and give very negative review.

The ladders has a good sort feature and email alert system. I like that it shows recruiter's names so you can contact them. The activity feature is really nice that let's you see recruiter activity.

The Ladders has good articles from time to time, otherwise it has been a come-on for money.

So many positions are way over my qualifications and I get so excited when I see a email from "the Ladders" but then I open it up and the positions os for an applicant that is way beyond my qualifications and on top of it, they are on the other side of the country...I am not applying for a positions in New York when I live in California for 60K a year!! On the other hand it is the only website that has continued to keep my lengthy applications time in the now. The Ladders is in engaging to the reader for possible positions. Charlie L

I had high hopes for The Ladders but after being a member for almost 4 months I have had no positive results. The process is similar to other large job boards and although the feedback noting whether your applications has been viewed (and it rarely is viewed) is useful but I just have not seen results. I understand this is a general industry challenge but in terms of value I do not see anything outside of additional feedback for the cost. I am still going to keep the subscription for a bit to give it more time but so far I am not overly excited with the service.

The Ladders is a unique job site. The way the dashboard is designed, it gives the job description, head recruiter, and status on where you stand with the competition all at a glance. Also the extra feature of rating specific employment opportunities that fits your qualifications is an advantage to those seeking employment.
