The site provides access to a ton of jobs. The only negative (as a basic member) is that a significant percentage (20-25%) are restricted to paid members. Luckily, for most of those I can use the one-two sentence description and research on the web and find out the actual company and apply directly. But I would not have even know to look if Ladders had not sent me an email.

I do not receive the responses back from recruiters after applying for a job. plus, i dont think the site is very helpful in my search

Ladders has been quite a blessing to be able to place my resume / cover in front of job employers. I do not have a lot of financial resources , therefore, i use the free subscription method.It also helps to take continuing education to stand out as a well rounded potential employee that could be an asset to the potential company

So far I haven't seen a single interview through Ladders and I've been active on a job market for the past 2 years. 4 out of 5 emails are not job leads but links to "Upgrade to see more". Regardless of how relevant the lead is to my experience (out of fun I applied to all variations) I get maybe one call out of 15 - 20 applications. Not worth my time and definitely not worth paying for same exact leads that can be had for free from every other site like LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, Indeed, etc.

I think Ladders allows alot of great insight that I have not been given before. It seems to help out the job seekers more so than any other job search engines I have seen. So far I have not got any offers, and many are still coming from Career Builder, but I think the Ladders is still my favorite.

Not a great experience. I expected much better results from a service that's specifically marketed towards upwardly mobile professionals. - Expected more feedback from Ladder service reps - Excepted more feedback from recruiters - Not enough postings in my sector - Too many job postings require paid subscription upgrades, which limits opportunities for unemployed job seekers.

I have been a paid member of The Ladders in the past and received zero responses from the many applications I sent. Of course, The Ladders can't guarantee a response. However, paying for a service (versus applying on Indeed.com or Careerbuilder for free) is useless if you don't receive responses or feedback on your applications. I don't recommend The Ladders.
