I was contacted on LinkedIn by a writer who sold me on a “special” while I was looking for resume help. I followed the link she provided, filled out the questionnaire, and then was told to follow one more link to set up a time to speak with a writer. There were no times available at all, and when I emailed support, no response. Really, at this point, just want the money back. I had really high hopes for them too.

I’m writing this review for Smith Gardner, he was the reason I chose JobSauce - salesman like this guy is why this company is so good on the front end. I’m happy with the end result of my resume; however, the business model of JobSauce lacks customer service, human connection and is a weak finisher. The writers are well qualified but they are Independent contractors so unless your resume is clear cut don’t expect much feedback and they won’t except a pdf - honestly, In today’s age.....Really?!? I just downloaded a pdf converter and put it in their google doc, why can’t they do that? They communicate with you via email and primarily use google doc., which is practical but impersonal and one phone call isn’t enough for anyone with an important question. I really needed to talk with anyone but, after they sold me, I couldn’t speak with anyone. To be fair, I missed my one phone call, but I was ‘Ghosted hard’ after trying to reach any human. Lastly, I had one IT error and the IT department just pushed me off to my writer Lindsey, who did a good job, but to no fault of her own isn’t as available as their customer stream process allows. In short, Job Sauce has a great product with a talented staff but poor customer service which is crucial when delivering a product of this type. If your resume is mostly done - go for it! But if your resume needs a human input -Don’t go with Weak Sauce.

Bryan was very professional, met his deadline and provided meaningful and positive feedback on everything asked. He truly made the process pain-free.

Brooke, my so-called resume coach has missed several of her own deadlines and neither she NOR anyone at the Job Sauce responds to my inquiries about rectifying this. You will pre-pay for this service so I would not recommend it.

I just got my resume done and it's like the person cut and pasted my old one. NO creativity what so ever! Not happy.

The Job Sauce is a great and professional service. The process of the initial call and then meeting with your resume writer was smooth and easy. Caroline Gutman provided excellent service to me. She was thorough, prompt and courteous which was reflected in the end result of my updated resume and LinkedIn descriptions. I actually had tried another service before Caroline looked at my resume and she was leaps and bounds better in resume standards and deliverable time. The price was also reasonable and I was allotted 3 rounds of feedback/changes, although I only needed one since it was already amazing the first time around. If you need an updated resume/LinkedIn, I highly recommend going with The Job Sauce and Caroline Gutman.

I have paid for the resume rewrite but the website doesn't provide a time for when I could meet with someone. I have sent an email and even put a ticket in with zero responses from the company. Additionally, I used LinkedIn Pro finder for this and the person that sent me information did not read my add and also hasn't been of any assistance. At this point I would rather have my money back rather than continue with a company that doesn't seem to exist.
