I contacted TJS because I don't have a lot of experience navigating conversations pertaining to compensation negotiation. I knew that I was interviewing for more senior positions and that I could expect a decent salary jump if I played my cards right. I've got to say I am extremely glad I contacted them and immensely thankful for what has turned out to be a life changing offer for me! By working with my coach, I increased my annual salary by 64%... AND I got a signing bonus! My coach was very proactive about following up with me and asking me for all of the right context to be sure he knew exactly how to help me. On numerous occasions he correctly predicted what the next step in the interview and negotiation process would be. I was guided through all the right things to say, the right way to say them, and when the right time would be to bring them up. Things like how to have my interviewer give a salary range before I did, how to phrase responses to ask for the number I wanted, how to go about asking for a better offer, as well as when and how to bring things up like preplanned time off. When I got my initial offer I was psyched and my coach was just as psyched for me. This was a really great opportunity and one that I knew I'd be extremely happy to have. In the past I've felt like I've been burned by taking the first offer that was given to me so I was weary about that happening this time as well. My coach was spot on with how to go about asking for more compensation in a way that was straight forward, not demanding or pompous, and gave the impression that I knew my value and what I was truly worth. After a couple days I got a call back from the company with an 8% increase from the initial offer as well as a 4% signing bonus. I'm positive the result would not have been anywhere near as good had I not had TJS in my corner, coaching me, being an advocate for me, and lending me the confidence to do this. I would urge anyone in the job hunting market to give the coaches at The Job Sauce the opportunity to change your life. Largely due to them I've signed an offer with a company I love and I'm making much more money that I would have otherwise.

I was in need of refreshing my resume and my LinkedIn page, and after reading a number of reviews and checking within my network I selected The Job Sauce. I was looking for both the “Resume Upgrade” and “LinkedIn Profile” feedback. I was promptly teamed up with Briton Wright, and from the very beginning was impressed with the level of service provided. Our initial discussion was quickly scheduled based upon my availability, and I found my chat with Briton the be engaging and energizing as we discussed the process and how we would optimize my new upgraded resume to better perform in an ATS check. The process was collaborative, and I was pleased with both the turn -around time and the document. From there Briton shared with me what recommended changes to make to my LinkedIn profile and I believe that the resulting changes now better reflects my professional profile. I recommend not only The Job Sauce, but also Briton Wright.

I paid for the service, met with my writer via phone and addressed her questions via google doc. I was told I would have a draft by a certain date. I tried contacting the resume writer twice with no response. The due date passed and I finally reached the resume writer by texting her, she informed me she quit and was sorry nobody from job sauce contacted me. I sent an email to job sauce resume support email and they finally reached out after I had written my initial one star review about poor customer service. I was told the VP wound he completing my resume, she sent a draft same day with additional questions. I again responded and have not received any updates. I emailed the VP and resume support and it has been 5 business days since last contact / communication. Then I learned from TrustPilot that Job Sauce reported my review as against Trust pilots policy, thus trying to get it removed from the site. If they would just give me a finial completed Resume this rating would have improved . Instead I am standing by the one star review. Update: Received resume. However content still needs a lot of work as they mixed up work experiences under different jobs and some typos. I do like the format.

The resume writer I worked with didn’t want to have dialogue about my transitional skills. I know that my skill set is unique, but they shouldn’t have agreed to do my resume if they couldn’t handle it. In addition to poor writing, I found that it doesn’t pass ATS basics and I do a lot of rework when uploading my resume to apply for jobs. I recommend finding a different service.

I was so lucky to be paired with Lindsay Hirsch, she did an amazing job writing my resume. She was very professional, paid attention to detail, took into consideration the positions I plan to apply for, and was very quick to get back to me anytime I had any questions. I highly recommend working with her and this company for anything job search or resume related.
